Disgraceful.
Goes to show what happens if you speak out against the agenda.

I loathe Tommy Robinson, but what on earth compelled the police to take such action?

Instances like this reinforce the cliche levied against them of 'have you nothing better to do?'

They have time for nonsense like this, but they couldn't attend the aftermath of my van break in recently (which cost me over £600 in losses) as (according to them) they haven't the resources.

All this will achieve is to garner more support for Pegida.

Rigid rules with no discretion don't help anybody.

Having some discretion relies on those people applying that discretion to do it reasonably - clearly the officers involved were unwilling or unable to do so in this case. They should be disciplined accordingly.

He's a convicted football hooligan so his name is no doubt on a list somewhere re where he can and can't be when his club Luton Town are playing.

Nevertheless, from the video posted it all seems a bit ott given that he was there with his family.

There couldn't possibly be any information missing or unknown aspects to this matter.

Do people see Brietbart as a source of unbiased news?

There will be more to this.

Of course there could, but that neither confirms nor denies the possibility of gobste heavy handed policing. It would be nice to be privy to the truth, but I never shall be.

The general campaign against Robinson is shocking and amounts to political persecution IMO.

His own account of it so don't expect total objectivity but fairly chilling reading nonetheless

My comments are based on the information available to date - if additional evidence is provided, I'll review my position!

Indeed, which is why only stupid people draw firm conclusions based on limited information / the information from one side.

There are plenty of remedies available to Robinson from complaints (internal and IPCC) to civil action if he feels the law has been wrongly applied.

I'm not sure any one has drawn firm conclusions, just commented on what they know so far.

I doubt that whether the cops on the video made the decision to enter and move him on by themselves bearing in mind that this would be potentially such a high profile incident. Matchday Police would have been fully aware he was at the event via usual match day intelligence. Hed have been tailed from the ground to the pub, and when they saw he wasnt leaving to go home immediately, match day commanders have probably got twitchy and ordered him to be moved on.
