Can someone bring me up to speed. I've come across these U tube videos nd I find myself wondering how these guys get to run the cars they do. Is it the bank of Daddy or is there some scheme I am not aware of. Surely they dont get given the cars just for making the pretty naff videos

Covered in many many articles, but:
Shmee = Family has plenty of money, although I believe he makes plenty himself through YT
SOL = Self made as far as I can tell, but I expect all of his vehicles are on finance, and he has a lot of companies that help him in exchange for promoting them (I bet he doesn't pay full price for wraps the amount he goes through)
Seen through glass = Looks like a fairly successful businessman himself, not sure what his other work is, he doesn't say, probably makes a little from YT too

Thanks for that explanation. I can understand Essena Oniel - she would have attracted me when I was 20, and the fashion items for kiddies that she is paid to sell are low cost.
Shmee was more difficult. Even allowing for the age gap , he came over as pretty shallow and no way could I see him running a business that would allow him to buy the cars he uses.

For Niche channels like these I'd say you get a nice amount of pocket money from them, but not enough to cover a mortgage. The main benefits would be invites to events before the public.To make large sums of money from YT, I'd imagine you have to be Kardashian famous.
How much Youtube gives per view varies, but typically you get between $1000 and $2000 per million views, so they aren't making a massive amount from Youtube itself as most struggle to get that many views and car videos are time consuming to make. The real money is in sponsored content for cars.
Patreon can make you a decent living, Fully Charged is a fairly small youtube channel (when compared to the likes of pewdiepie who makes millions a year) but he is turning in a good few thousand a month from it: https://www.patreon.com/bobbyllew

I actually think Paul Wallace is doing the best out of the 3 mentioned.
He has some great viewing numbers, some of his vids not far off Tim Burton. However Tim must have some massive overheads.
Seen Through Glass... not as popular, but I like his videos for their polish.
Some other good ones to watch are Jamie_FYD and Daniel Silvester - both UK based.
I also like B is For Build and Marchettino

STGs recent week of videos in California were excellent and I watched them all, some twice.
