Maybe try Bimota UK too, they offer a supercharger option on that engine in their top naked bike. TTS performance do a wide range http://www.tts-performance.co.uk/

And set aside 10x the price for regular engine rebuilds when the bottom end can't take the forces.
If there's a single engine not made for forced induction the Duc 1200 evolution is it.
If you want a turbo get a busa or a big kwaka

Super...go for it then...
Why not ask the people who have done it without problem if they sell the kits.
Then find someone who can strip and reassemble the motor and reflash the ecu.
Keep their number handy mind...
You'll be seeing the inside of the motor more than they admit wink

This photo is on the front page of Big CC Racing. So may be worth a call to them to find out a bit more info about it. They don't list the Ducati under any of their current kits so probably a custom job.

I'm just imagining how hot my right leg would be getting being so close to that and directly in the airflow from it

I suspect these are mainly show bikes so your right leg would probably be alright. Some engineering though, I suspect they're great fun and a nice earner for the fitter for post-upgrade repairs.

Was going to say Big CC. Just round the corner from me. What they don't know about turbos isn't worth knowing.

Why turbo instead of supercharging? Packaging? Engine characteristics? I'm not really up to speed with FI on bikes. I have read about more supercharged Ducatis than turbo'd over the years - the Vee-two Super Squalo maybe the highest profile. But then, those people made the actual supercharger as well as the bike it was bolted to (sprintex)!
