12 months ago I thought Smalling had finally turned the corner and developed into a good solid CB.
It seems I was totally wrong. He's repeatedly shaky and a complete liability these days. Oh for the days of Pally and Bruce!

Rojo reminds us all why he should never pull on a Utd shirt. He's appalling.

Rojo is st. Smelling not much better. Very sloppy start. Way too narrow, trying to play through Blackburn.

If I had to choose between the two, it wouldn't be the English one though. At least Rojo looked good this season when he got a few games in a row.

Yeah, shouldn't have had as much space as that to play into but Jesus he's good isn't he?

He's a very crude defender. Wtf was he doing trying to block that shot, 10 yards from the attached, stood still with his hands behind his back.

No argument here, he's no worldie. What I am saying is I reckon he's the best we've got to support Bailley.

Enjoying this so far, good cup tie.

Agree with the above on Smalling and Rojo though, both regressed to the norm in this game it looks like. Maybe it's the weather, but neither look comfortable. Mkhi pass though cloud9, and Rashfords compsure was top notch too. We can hope to see more from Martial, though, although not entirely his fault we aren't giving him the ball enough. A bit more control is needed in midfield really, but would prefer to keep Pogbar rested. Basti on 60 minutes maybe, when Rovers are knackered enough to be at his pace.

Micky is class. Otherwise, the side looks very average without Pogba (who is embarrassingly underrated on here).

Not by anyone who's objective enough to know mate. For instance, I think he's pure class with loads more to come but I keep quiet. It's just I can't be arsed with the sneering muppets every time he plays a stray pass eg "£100m and he can't play it to feet over 15yards...."

What an astounding pass from Pogba to Zlatan. And a great finish from Zlatan, too - that was not an easy one to put away.

Still a lot of poor players kicking about in this side. Darmian is Championship standard.

Agreed. Huge quality from both of them.

Romero.

rofl

Makes a complete Horlicks of the first save, then produces a couple of miracles to save the lead. He's not a bad 2nd choice, is he?

WTF, commentators?

'United substitutes combined value £281m' - how does £89m + £37m = £281m?

(Not to mention that Blackburn were the original Sugar Daddy team, too!)

You really can be quite negative can't you? According to you, most of the squad are ste and aren't ever worth a jot or a word of praise even after a decent performance.
Off you pop then and find us someone better than Romero who's happy to sit on the bench forever because there's no real prospect of deposing Dave. (Unless there's a prospect of Real perhaps smile )
