Quite...all the comments coming out of the club are "one game at a time". We've got squad depth and the players are in form, confident and more importantly...enjoying themselves! Fingers crossed the others will falter and we'll be able to pick up some points when we do start in the league again. We can't drop any points though so there's immense pressure to get it right all the time!
I think we have the experience in both players and manager to get us in to the top 4. We are going to drop points, no question but I don't see us dropping as many as the others. Can see us finishing 3rd behind Chelsea and City tbh.

I'm making no such predictions! Not even going to speculate what will have happened by season end. I know we have a 50/50 chance of silverware in the EFL cup!

Agreed. We are miles better than we've been for a while. Arguably playing better football than under the last few Fergie years. The only flies in the ointment are, our finishing, and the number of games we've got left this season. One game at a time...I think we have the right man in charge to negotiate these last few months. Very heartened by the first season, and looking forwards to Maureen completing his squad in the summer.
I think we're looking at unleashing players with a point to prove. Case in point Martial. Somebody mentioned a few months ago on this thread about Mourinho working out who's with him and who isn't and knocking them down to build them back up again. Neville pointed to this tonight on MNF. I think there's some truth in that.
I'll take a hungry point to prove Martial thanks very much. Pogba's looking like he's taking things much more serious on the pitch now too. Can't wait for the next game to come these days. Going to OT last season at times was like I was being punished for something I hadn't done!
