Much better second half. Dreadful defending in the first half.
Bailly's worst game for us so far, and possibly the worst opening 10 since Smalling at Chelsea

Martial and Rashford were great, and some of Mata's first touches were back to his beast...missed Miki though and we were lucky to go in at half time 1-0 up.

Squad rotation is key for us over the next few games. We can't have our first 11 being overly worked as come crunch time in April/May they will be shattered!

Scholes was talking up Kroos the other day, it would be bleeding perfect if we are able to get him. Pogba, Herrera and Kroos in midfield is perfect smile

Not the best hatrick in the world. Zlat is awesome but was disappointingly 'cheaty' last night.
hehe Agreed...but I reckon I could have scored his hat trick last night. wink

I would have been nervous for the 2nd leg taking a 2-0 lead but 3-0 was a bit of a killer for them as I can see us scoring at theirs.

A few of the family stand kids move to the front near the tunnel entrance towards the end of games to try and get a shirt or a high five or Jose's notepad as he always hands that out after signing it (minus his notes). Last night, I took my 7 year old down and put him on my shoulders so he could see a bit better. Didn't get a high five but he got a point, a smile and a wave off Darmian which he was very chuffed about. smile

No but I didn't say he had. I was simply stating that he would be ideal for what we need.

I'm surprised you don't want her for yourself tbh.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe it's one of "those" open minded relationships...

Usually you'd be wary of an upset when a Championship side play a Prem team at home but if we can't overcome a Championship team that are 2nd bottom with a current record of W7 D8 L16 and in a downward spiral I'll be astonished.

Although they did beat Newcastle recently. Even so.

well it really needs to be win or lose today, worst result is probably a replay. We should win, but you just never know in these games.

Here's hoping for an exciting game either way, all these boring Jose Mourinho defensive anti-football tactics we've had to put up with this season have been really grinding my gears wink
