Decent result between Liverpool and City has really stirred things up. If Spurs drop a few points this is going to be a really interesting end to the season, albeit I'm only talking about the losers prizes.

Terrible tactics. Very disappointed with 8 at the back. Wtf is Maureen doing.
This is how it is with José. Back in the day at Chelsea the worst from a fans perspective was we scored an early goal. 1-0 after 15 minutes and I'd ask my son if he wanted to go because I knew we were destined for 75 minutes of turgid sideways passing. I know we won leagues and cups but it was predominantly dull.

I know José talks about playing "the United way" but he just wants to win and doesn't give a toss about entertainment. This is what upset Roman who gave José loads of money but couldn't understand why in all the big games we'd have 10 men behind the ball.

Don't get me wrong, José knows how to win, but if your hoping to see a reincarnation of Giggs down the wing, Kanchelskis down another and Gordon Hill the other you're going to be disappointed.

When you've come from LVG, trust me, Maureen is positively cavalier. I was just disappointed that we parked everything today. But perhaps the players were that tired that it was the only way. I just hope it doesn't become, the way.

Against a team that had only managed 19 goals in 27 games, I don't get why we felt the need to try and mass defend so deep? A bit of possession would have been better and just kill the game. Bizarre. Oh well, a win's a win!

5th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get in.

Agreed, the team has played some dull stuff but I remember us parking the bus against Liverpool early on in the season. It was a dire match but we got 1 point and they all add up and can make a big difference at the end of the season, particularly when we are all so close.

Looking on as in might happen, or looking on as in "6 defenders? Merde"?

Can't see Lukaku wanting to work with the manager who sold him when he was younger before giving him a chance. I'd rather Griezmann and let Rashford have more game time.

Arsenal are imploding.

Man City look fragile.

Liverpool are Liverpool.

Spurs will find a way to finish below Arsenal even if they have to kill Harry Kane to do it.

Dare we think about getting 3rd or even 2nd?!

I can't see us getting 2nd but 3rd is there for the taking! The game against City is going to be huge in a few weeks smile

Transfer wise, I can see Rooney going and for some kind of part ex with Lukaku!!

TBH we aren't going to win the Prem so the next best thing is a CL spot. As long as we are 2-4 place that's fine. No-one cares who finish 2nd, 3rd, 4th when the season is over.

We're not playing brilliantly and all the other teams are similar, it could go any way for us.

The only thing with finishing 4th is the potential banana skin qualifier!

I think it does matter where we finish within the top 4. All these teams that are above us need to know that they're just keeping our seat warm!

If you finish 4th there is a pre-qualifying game that if you lose you drop straight into the Europa league. The Top 3 finishers are straight into the draw.

Hopefully we win the europa league making the leAgue finish irrelevant .
I'm with Jose on this it's a Better way of qualifying as well , you would remember winning a cup , not sure finishing 4th is a memorable event.
