No, Fenerbache won the group we finished second, that means we are unseeded and could face spurs or any of the other champions league rejects.
Surprised we are still 5/1 favourites (10/1 bar) but i backed us anyway
Can't face any other English team so won't be drawn spurs. Still other teams in there that can cause us problems. Surprised we are still 5/1 favourites (10/1 bar) but i backed us anyway
Not sure that really matters. Chelsea and others dominate and score. We cannot pretend to be as good as them because we do one of those things but not the other. You don't deserve to win games for being ineffectual in the final third.
I think our league position is spot on. We have been very poor compared to all the teams above us.

I don't think anyone is pretending we are as good as the Top 4 teams. It's WIP. But it's heading in the right direction. Personally at this stage of our development, I'd rather we drew games playing well than won a few with one shot on target. I think our league position is spot on. We have been very poor compared to all the teams above us.

Chelsea have been outplayed in thier last two games and have somehow won both. In Hazard & Costa they have the best attacking midfielder & natural goalscorer in the country.

"Sometimes little details make a difference and the goal is a big detail. We are not scoring enough goals for the football we play,” Mourinho said.
Mourinho said: “It is always important to win. When we played Arsenal, it was important to win. We played to win, we deserved to win, but we didn’t win. We played against Everton, we had one more point than Everton [before the game]. It was important to win and go to four. We played to win, we deserved to win, but we didn’t win".
That's all pretty special.

wouldn't disagree, although it's close between costa and aguero, with costa edging it slightly for me.I would think normally it would balance out with teams taking more of their opportunities against them, but United won the league a few years back in a similar way,won loads of games they were outplayed in.In Hazard & Costa they have the best attacking midfielder & natural goalscorer in the country.

No not really, it's never the "tactical mastermind's" fault is it.He promised the EPL title at the beginning of the season, he only needed 4 new players. But ever since players, referees, his predecessors, luck; they all got the blame these past months...
against the Spurs tomorrow he'll probably play with Fellini again in CDM....on the hunt for goals.
