As close an admission as you'll get to not having moved fast enough or done enough with transfers.
I'd be surprised if we don't see a lot of movement in the summer with players coming in that are more Matip and Mane than Grujic and Klavan.
Not really. We've been signing our summer signings early in the window for the most part under Klopp. So if you're going to do that you have to plan early, not wait until the window opens. As close an admission as you'll get to not having moved fast enough or done enough with transfers.

Was just about to post the same - its not news that they spend months and months tracking targets, its been reported before. I suspect like last year there will be a mix of "expected to work straight away" and "one for cover/the future".NRS said:

At least we are not disagreeing that we needed 6 or 7 players from when Klopp came in. I think only Mane and Matip have genuinely strengthened from last summer. We need 5 such players this summer.
Out of curiosity who would you move on?

Talking about it now is an admission. we can of course disagree.

Does that mean all the top clubs also did badly since they never signed anyone? And it's not the club publishing stuff - it is answering questions. Put it this way - if I ask you questions about something that went wrong and work and you answer them is that an admission of guilt? At least we are not disagreeing that we needed 6 or 7 players from when Klopp came in. I'd move on Moreno for sure. Then (if we could get "better" replacements) then maybe Can, Karius, Lucas, one of the strikers. The question is who can we get that would be certainly better than them? I have no idea in terms of someone we can actually get to Anfield and is a "proven" improvement.

Depends where they finish and what trophies they win. Also what their starting point was. Though your statement is of course inaccurate as I'm sure City made a signing or two and Arsenal bought a kid from the Northern League.

Well, considering most clubs did better than us last season and now are around us (or we are around them) then you'd have to assume they're "worse off" and so should be the ones desperate to make new signings?

There to buy or sell?...
Probably invited by them for allowing them to come to Anfield to see how we did the redevelopment without it effecting the attendance. There to buy or sell?...
JWH will not get involved in the selling or buying of any players.
