Klopp says XYZ - you say that's just FSG propaganda. You're suggesting Klopp isn't telling the truth = so he's a liar.

Everyone knows you hate FSG and their ilk; I have a certain sympathy with that POV, I really do. But they're not going to go away and they're the the best option we have. And most of us think they've managed the club reasonably well in recent times with us showing signs of improving under the right manager.

What you think about them seems to completely cloud many of the things you say about Liverpool to be honest. In fact if we were ultimately successful winning league and cup doubles you'd probably suggest that was despite what FSG have done. And that gives many of your posts less impact.

Flip. Do you really think I'm the only one that has this position on FSG?

They're here to make money. Top 4 is their holy grail. Hearing that Champions League music at Anfield is all they crave and the millions it'll bring in.

Once they get us to that level they'll multiply their investment by 10 and sell to some Chinese scumbags who no doubt kill puppies and exploit children.

I'd have more respect for FSG if they were honest about our limitations rather than this bks, we can't make teams sell us their players. Pay enough and not one of those names would refuse a move. Has always been the way. To suggest otherwise is nonsense.

If you look at the other end of the a580 there's a team with an open chequebook.

Why not go and support them?

Alternatively support what the manager is trying to achieve. With the ups and downs that that entails.

And don't cry when people call you names when you are happy to do the same to others.

Every time you call me a prick I will report you. I warned you first some months ago.

And I'll support who I want. Let's not pretend you blindly followed the team without questions when Roy was in charge.

20,000 of us walked out last season because FSG didn't know when to stop pushing. Or did that not happen?

Frankly astonishing that you report me for my post.

The actions of a child.

Do you remember the joke about the Sunday league player and the referee?
That's me now.

Edited to add this is what happened to the TV money

No I don't. But you ARE the only one who allows it to colour all your posts, so that almost everything (note I said almost) is from a negative point of view. You don't seem to enjoy supporting us much.

Pay enough money - there are plenty of other clubs with owners who do that. And you complain about them doing so. Not to mention you have to keep within the fair play rules. However it is clear that "unlimited money" does not equal success. Just look at what are probably the 2 biggest spenders in the last few years (Manchester clubs) and look at their position in the league now. It does help, but it seems so many clubs have effectively unlimited money that the best players can just choose their clubs, rather than being attracted by a salary at one place. Particularly in the EPL.

It's not just about money for the top players - they also want to win trophies. Since we have finished an average of 5th in the last number of seasons (I can't remember what period I worked out the average, think it was 7-8 years) then why would they move from say Arsenal, Man U, Man City, Chelsea or even Tottenham to join us? Let alone Barca, Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern etc. I think we could have improved on Moreno but for example which keeper is going to be "confirmed" better than Mignolet that we can get? Even City haven't got someone for that position who is world class and they have recent history success and are willing to throw the money around.

I think we will have issues in some positions and could have done something before in the market, but it does seem to be Klopp not wanting to waste money on a temporary fix rather than not having money available to spend. And we know from recent history if you sign too many players at once it messes the team up as they all have to adjust/ get to know each other etc.

Perhaps sometimes temporary fixes are what's needed to get us to a position where we are able to attract more long term fixes. We did that with Gary Mac didn't we?

As for financial fair play, give over, that ship sailed a long time ago.

The players that have been referenced for this January. I don't see City or Chelsea after them. Or Barca etc.

As far as I'm concerned, complaining now we can't sign players in January for positions that needed filling in the summer is a cock up. Especially when we closed our transfer dealings in the summer with a profit..

You think the forum rules don't apply to you and you calling another poster a prick isn't childish? Really?

As for the FSG yacht. What else do you expect from him. Buy something on the cheap after someone else's misfortune.

What's childish is that you think it is ok to call people names yet you report to mods when it is done to you.

Anyway, crack on.
The other people on the board can make their own mind up. I used the term prick as I really didn't think it was that offensive. I have been called alot worse on PH with no moderator intervention, but then I am not a cry baby who presses report at the drop of a hat.

Well done RT you have said comments to get a reaction and have got exactly that! As for calling football players cowards its just sad! I think you need to look at this thread and see that nearly every poster has an issue with you, and your comments! I dislike your opinion that we should just buy buy buy rather than build a team, I am happy to wait while we build a great team!!

Klopp being predictable!!! WHAT?? All managers have a system or style of play.

All this talk of moving Milner forward, why? he is playing well where he is, one of the only rock steady positions we have!

Markovich is back from loan, I am aware he is not a great player but he does have plenty of pace, maybe move him out to where mane was? At least give it a go!

Mings has picked up some form and is looking good!

Corners are a massive weak point, as for Lovrens header to concede one, not that bad a decision 2 players in the box with him, did he have a shout? I don't know but the goal was certainly not his fault.

Interesting point of view on MOTD, saying that the attacking players where far too complacent from the off! Having watched some of the game again its true our star players were poor and didn't show Swansea enough respect!

I am apprehensive about the next few games, lets hope this is the end of our poor form!

A few facts.

1) we're in a great position in the league, playing arguably the best football

2) we're not a Chelsea/City type club, and most of us are glad of that fact

3) there is one poster on this forum, that pretty much ruins it for 80% (some don't mind him, wums love him). However, he is a proper supporter, who goes to games, and gives some really good insight at times. I can only assume that his ongoing support of LFC, is very much a masochistic thing for him, getting great delight when results don't go our way, conspicuously absent when we do well.

4) like or no, he ain't going anywhere, so best to try and live with it :-/

So what are peoples thoughts about Wednesday ?

Do we go full strength to try and turn it around or do we give the Kids a run out again to give them more experience ?

I think Klopp will go full strength as our next PL game is on the 31st, I think we should go for it as well view it as a PL match.

Markovic is coming back but not to Liverpool - Klopp does not want him anywhere near, didnt anything but impress before he was shipped out on loan and thats obviously been the same at Sporting where they are desperate to get rid...

RT - problem we have atm is the players he is wanting Pulsic, Brandt etc are playing for teams in the next round of the champions league and they are not gonna accept an extra 5m on a 25m price in Jan, In summer yes, Yes we should have got cover in summer but we didnt so no point keep beating the same drum.
If we go sign another player to play out wide with pace we are then basically going for a player who was not Klopps top 2 choices, not sure I would want that long term tbh id rather he got the men he really wanted and if that means summer then so be it.....

I do agree we could probably could have got Draxler if we offered enough money but I bet he has gone there on near 200k a week - so no champs league so we have to probably beat that so what 240/250k?? thats just not going to happen at Liverpool especially for someone not tested in the premiership.

I do believe he will go full throttle for Brandt in the summer, young quick direct and skillful and having watched them a few times this year it would be someone I would want at the club
Could we maybe test say someone like Palace with a bid for Zaha ? but then would he move as he would know as soon as Mane is back he is on the bench and not playing like at UTD..

Do you really think Klopp has missed the points about Mane and the lack of winter break? If he were really that limited and thoughtless I doubt he'd be here. Although RT would probably see it as justification for his idea that FSG do things on the cheap...
In that case where is the genuine pace replacement / compliment to Mane? Arguably it lies only in Ejaria and Ojo - both still learning the game and neither of whom have featured in the league. He may have thought about it - but the lack of action is telling right now.
I apologise for my my oversight... apparently we do have a pacey winger!

That's what people tell themselves to convince themselves they're not gutted that they haven't been bought by a gazillionaire. But when you get bought by one, and the trophies roll in, you'll love it.

Re reporting people. Why does anyone report anyone else? Being abused on an internet forum is like being hissed at in the street by a stray cat. Totally meaningless and not worth bothering about.

Makes sense, he can put a decent ball in the box. However I am biased as I really want him to transform!
