Everywhere I've read it's stated £150k. Good that he signed so quickly, I think that's a good sign that he's happy here.

Even at £150k it makes him the highest paid player at the club and nearly doubles his current £80k/w salary.

Everything Coutinho has been quoted as saying after signing his new contract is everything he's been saying all season. He knows how much he's improving under Klopp, the team all feel the same way, its very exciting being at Anfield with him, he and his family all love living in Liverpool and he's very happy.

So of course, come the Summer he'll be off. Or so some will persist in believing. Seriously, unless it goes really tits up from now until May, we'll get at least 1 more season out of him, possibly more, depending on what happens next season.

I Unless there is a massive drop in form and we end up not even fighting for anything I cant see him going now for next 2 years , he is very much happy under Klopp and everything he has said makes me thinks he wants top succeed here -
Keep fighting for everything we will have him for a min of 2 years.

PC signing a new contract is great news... IIRC, he's signed a few now, and there never seems to be any hassle... word comes out they are working on a new contact, next day it's announced he's signed.

He comes across as such a well balanced person.

Its a shrewd move I think. He's not good enough for Barca or Real and has now been priced out of everywhere else bar China.

Nice to see a key player not bending the club over, but being rewarded for his hard work & form.... great news for us, Klopp is serious about building a great team & squad who WANT to be here to win & fight for the chance to win stuff.

Let's hope we can pull off another great cup night at Anfeild tonight , if we get through & assuming Hull don't pull off a miracle, it would be so sweet to beat the Mancs for Klopps first trophy!

Different IMO...

Suarez tried to go to Arsenal. Threw his toys out of his cot when FSG refused. Played up in the press. And his wife's family lived in Barcelona.

Never heard anything but positivity from PC about his time at LFC.

Yep sounds exactly like Luis did. They seem to be great friends. So maybe he's getting advice there. I'd be happy with one more season, and being realistic if he keeps going like he is he will move. €100 mil.
