Do you really think he gives a fk about full houses & winning stuff ?
Money talks, if it didnt how would City and United have who they haveDo you really think he gives a fk about full houses & winning stuff ?
I am not saying we go bid 250k a week I am saying we put in a serious offer of what he is worth then give him the decision to make......
Not to sure any of them would get in that Paris team TBH
I think most players would take the chance to be one of 2 or 3 teams going for the French title AND one of 4 or 5 teams realistically with a chance of winning the Champions League every season over possibly qualifying for the CL each season and maybe mounting a title challenge every 4-5 years.
If I was Draxler, going to PSG I know I'd be playing with several World class players every season. Coming to Liverpool I simply wouldn't be amongst the same quality of players, and any players that did show any World class talent I'd be worried about how long they'd be sticking around for. It's not like the days of Gerrard and Torres or Suarez, there are literally no players we have that would be a draw for other players to come and play alongside.
And yes, the Premier League is the most competitive in the World, so that might be attractive to some players - but if I was a player wanting to play in the PL I'd want to go to City, Utd or Chelsea - one of the three teams with the resources to make sure that, even if they have the odd bad season, they'll sure as hell be competing for the title very shortly afterwards!

There are a lot of clubs that would see Coutinho, Mane, Firmino as a hell of a draw plus Klopp If I was Draxler, going to PSG I know I'd be playing with several World class players every season. Anyway all I am saying - (not just draxler) if we really want to move on to the next level we may have to pay what our higher earners are getting paid not the 80/90k with a promise of a rise if they play well (we will always be where we are with that mentality)

But you're talking about a player comparing Coutinho, Mane and Firmino to Cavani, Silva and Moura.Anyway all I am saying - (not just draxler) if we really want to move on to the next level we may have to pay what our higher earners are getting paid not the 80/90k with a promise of a rise if they play well (we will always be where we are with that mentality)
I agree with your second part, if we really want to start competing for top four every season we need several players who are worth paying £150-200k a week, and I think we could afford that quite easily.
I'm just saying that we're not going to get those players by competing against the likes of PSG for their signature.

All I am saying is we need to give them something proper to thin about - not PSG here is 150k euro a week and us here is 90k a week but we will increase it if you play well I agree with your second part, if we really want to start competing for top four every season we need several players who are worth paying £150-200k a week, and I think we could afford that quite easily.

Sounds reasonably promising, although it would seem to be a no brainer really - more seats (and not corporates), get more people in who can't get there at the moment."concerns over the efficiency of new staff have been raised"?! What's that about, anyone know?

I thought we matched PSG's offer to Draxler?
The same as when we matched Arsenal's offer to Sanchez.
Not from what was being said by 1 of the regular journos a few weeks back. More like "ok, if he's after the money he's not what we want".The same as when we matched Arsenal's offer to Sanchez.
Impressed with them last night I have to say. Amazed that guy Di Maria never gets linked with a Premier League club.

I have to agree. Put it this way, if it was Tottenham do you think he'd go for them if they offered a similar wage as PSG? They also have finished above us in the league pretty consistently for a while now, and have London as a location (which is a much bigger draw than Liverpool for most players). Ok, they will never win a trophy, but even so...If I was Draxler, going to PSG I know I'd be playing with several World class players every season. We're being far too optimistic with our view on Liverpool/Klopp/our players etc if we think we can compete with teams like PSG. We'd have to not only match their offer but give a lot more to be able to get players using up some of their best years here. It's a club with good support and a good history, but have never won the league in decades and haven't won a cup for a while yet either. And not even CL football to offer (at least on a regular basis). We'd either have to try and outpay the clubs that outpay others and hope we didn't do a Leeds, or try and get talent before the big clubs move for them (which is what we are doing now).

The point I was trying to make was not if he would choose us over PSG , it was if we want to win anything we have to be making offers that make him think - not low balling at 90/100k when they are offering 150kWe're being far too optimistic with our view on Liverpool/Klopp/our players etc if we think we can compete with teams like PSG.
