Good game to watch, last 20 mins were a bit desperate for us, but we had some great chances to counter attack, that we didn't really capitalise on... We looked short of ideas & numbers when it mattered.
Overall a draw was just about a fair result, both teams missed a couple of golden chances to win it.
How's our run in look?

Lallana is not the most natural of goal scorers but even he should have scored that. The momentum for that fourth place is with Utd. Games in hand and grinding out results. We seem out of energy and short on players as we enter the business end of the season.
This season I'm afraid we have no one to blame but ourselves and if it costs us top 4...

The 13 players that played today, we maybe have Lovren and Henderson coming back to add to that. That's our squad. In isolation a draw away at City isn't a bad result. But where we sit now positionally, having to rely on Utd to drop points to stay 4th, that is a mess all of our own making.

We have a tough run in. All playing smaller teams that will sit back and defend.
This. And the fact that we can't apparently cope with this means we wouldn't deserve a top 4 finish. If by some miracle we can start killing these teams off and making them chase the game (it only takes one goal, after all!) then we stand a chance. But as said, we have a very small squad in terms of 1st team international class, compared to others.
Does anyone here on twitter follow @BoringMilner? Comedy gold.
"I said to Daniel Sturridge Do you regret missing those easy chances now? He said What do you think, James? I said I think you do."
"Just asked Pogba if the hashtag #Pogba being on the advertising hoardings most of the game put him off. He said no. I said are you sure?"

I thought Can was very good today.
Clyde average again.
Can did play well. Think I saw him only once positionally expose himself. Some of his forward runs were decent also.Clyde average again.
My personal opinion is that our midfield 3 is more effective with Lallana as the point man with 2 deeper defenders behind him. So we end up playing a more dynamic version of a 4231. The players we have it becomes a 423 with a false 9 striker that can drop in and interchange with any of the attacking 3 midfielders. Coutinho, Mane, Lallana, Wijnaldum and Firmino can take these forward roles, the only 2 we really can't replace there are Firmino and Mane. Firmino naturally can play that forward role in a way the others can't and then there's the pace of Mane. Once we've strengthened here, it will leave Can, Henderson and one other new signing fighting it out for the 2 deeper midfielders position.
Be interesting to see who Klopp brings in next season to strengthen our attack to add some depth there. As it stands the only depth we have is Origi and a very young kid. There's a central midfielder, pacy winger and striker yet to come in to this team that Klopp is building.

They do have a much tougher (on paper) run in though, Spuds, Citeh, Arse, and all away. And Chelsea at home - so don't think they're going to come out with maximum points from that lot.The 13 players that played today, we maybe have Lovren and Henderson coming back to add to that.
