Is it England or Liverpool playing in blue tonight? Some quality pressing from England in the first 10 mins.

Brandt will end up at Bayern I think.
Ribery an Robben both 33.
Kingsley Coman will end up back at Juve or in the prem for big money, not that i've seen enough of him to warrant a big price.

Nice assist by Trent - his attacking play looks far more potent than Clynes - will it be long before he is edging him out ?

Divock Origi is considering his Liverpool future. He's frustrated at his lack of playing time (Paul Joyce)

Liverpool are monitoring Burnley defender Michael Keane. #lfc (Paul Joyce)

Great scouting there.
Think he played in some sort of a game last night.

Origi will be remembered as the Belgian N'Gog. Hopefully we manage to get something decent back on him, because let's face it, he's not going to get more playing time.

I'd px Sturridge, Origi and Ings for one striker that has the work rate of Firmino with a touch more class in front of goal.

Disgraceful if true. Though not sure why the school fees could not have been folded into the boys wages?

it is a point missed by many though about pens, if he took our pens, we have had 7 this year, say he scores 5 he is on 14 goals - i think if we get 15 goals out of him a season along with everything else he does you cannot ask for more

Bring a striker in who scores 20 will he complement the team as much or would the team suffer ?

Be tough to find that guy who can do as much for the team and still score a respectable amount of goals.

I agree. A Firmino who can score tonnes of goals is a Suarez.

And if you have a decent squad you have in it both Firmino and a striker that is capable of scoring well above 20 goals a system suited to our preferred style of play.

Sturridge isn't that player, Origi isn't that player and Ings next season after being out for 2 seasons is a squad filler or worth sending out on loan to get match fitness.

As for that kid and the school fees. Absolute silliness by all concerned imo.

ideally yes RT - I do hope we get someone in to compliment our team as just him is not enough if Origi wants to leave and Sturridge leaves - i can deffo see us spending 30m+ on a FW this summer

How is it that Liverpool have produced more legends than every other English team combined? It's an incredible feat and correlates to trophies won.
