Yes they're really laying down the foundations for a good team in the future. Dortmund is known to develop young potential players into world class players, so it's clear to see why someone would choose to move there instead of the likes of Liverpool.

It's just a shame that the players that really push on will be sold to Bayern in a few years time (albeit for a nice profit).
Which Klopp was massively part of - why we need top 4 so we can start to do the same as we have everything else going for us

In all fairness to Siggy Spurs never played him in his favoured position. I'd love him back but he wouldn't get much game time with us now & he's far to decent to sit on the bench.

The fans at Spurs still think highly of him , well I do.
Lamela used to get a lot of game time before he vanished - he is twice the player he is
Lamela plays for us on the right, when BCM says Siggys fav position that's in the middle where we now play Ali and before that Erilsen and while he is good hes not as good as either of those.

That said Poch has gone on record as saying he wished he hadn't have sold him, were he still at Tottenham he might not be the first name on the team sheet but he'd get plenty of game time.

If you have the chance to sign him and you choose not too you'd be fools.

C'mon Sye, Siggy is good but he's not Champions league good , he's comfortably a good player for a team finishing 6th,7th or 8th i'd say.

He did alight in the world cup -
he constantly in the top 3/4 for his position in our league in a bad teem

So depends how you rate that - also why would you want him back if he aint good enough anyway?

He'd be a great sub depth in squad is vital when you're going for the honours,

That's why .

I doubt he'd get much game time in either our team or Spurs. If there are no injuries he *might* get a run out at the end of the game, just to bring on some fresh legs. The only chance he'd get at a proper run out is if Lallana gets injured for us, or Alli/Eriksen got injured for Spurs. So maybe a consecutive run of a few weeks in a season?

Exactly he would give us squad depth just like he would spurs

Can Wijnaldum
Coutinho
Mane Origi Firmino

Or

Can Lucas Wijnaldum
Mane Firmino Coutinho

The young kid has looked way out of his depth and we have no other attacking players with Lallana, Henderson and the ever injured Sturridge out. Crazy.

The first line-up feels more attacking. We are at home, we need to take the game to Everton.

I remember watching this match on TV at the time. If you think our defence is bad now, watch some of these howlers. Dalglish resigned after this cup tie against Everton. However good we were going forward (and we scored some crackers), the defence was hell bent on keeping Everton in it. Abject.

He's back in training. I doubt he'll be used though.

Report said he was training outside with the staff, not the 1st team. So nowhere near starting at the weekend I would think
