Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see why you'd immediately see it as a 'contract' thing.
Sanchez can't be that thick that he didn't realise at that particular time it would be a good time to give Welbeck a run out after his injury, if he can't see that someone needs to have a word with him.
Ray, you've obviously never played then. If I was playing up front and 4-0 up i wouldn't want to be subbed as i'd see it as a good chance to score. He wouldn't be thinking about his buddy Welbeck.

A one horse race including Madrid and Barcelona ?

You're right about Costa but regarding Pogba perhaps Mourinho paid a few mill too much for him, I also see the 'Special One' reverting to lower league tactics 'the long ball'
Since for example Liverpool play far more long balls than united
Where does that place them in terms of tactics? What's lower than lower league ?
Junior football?

I think the answer to that is yes. To say he's never quite got to the heights he should is hogwash. At tournaments with England he's been selected despite not being fully fit which has hampered his performance.

The country and United have been lucky to have him over the years.

One of the hottest properties/prospects in world football at the time it seemed everybody but me (as I'd not monitored his progress since leaving Man Utd). IIRC Pogba had a big contract at Juve and they wanted to keep hold of him so it wasn't going to happen unless for a big fee. For Pogba see Bale as an example. We enquired about Bale apparently but his heart was set on Madrid, so a one horse race, but it still took £80M to get him off Spurs.

Yeah I know.

Juve didn't want to sell, we wanted to buy. It took what it did, same as with Bale. Not sure I can make it any clearer. Not to mention the fking agent's fee.

Because someone criticises Man Utd I'm a troll, I criticised an Arsenal player the team I support, the difference is it's not blind loyalty with me I tell it like it is.

nope ,that isn't what I said.I said they wanted to buy him.Barca wouldnt match united price or pogbas wage demand,Madrid didnt want to pay that much either.Pogba claims he turned them both down but I think the unwillingness by both to pay the price demanded is more reality.

Chris how many times do you see a top player being subbed towards the end of a match when the match is already won, quite often I would say, agreed? But the majority don't get the hump about it, in fact it's a bit of way of heaping praise by saying "I want to make sure my star player doesn't get injured and rest him as the game is already won"

Although this huge price United have paid for Pogba is very amusing for a lot of us it does have me thinking just how much of this fee have Adidas paid ?

Not because you criticised Man U, because you came out with a bizarre statement about Fergie bottling it, and Sanchez throwing tantrums because it's contract talks.

From my perspective it's so far from the mark I felt you posted it to troll. Apologies if that was wrong

Good I thought I was going mad for a minute then, this was the comment I was referring to:

Which you and Annies dad seemed to be taking issue with, but in doing so seemingly agree with me. No other club was willing to pay the same amount of money utd were

I was referring to your 1 horse race reference ,it implies only united were interested in signing him.

And we wont really know the truth anyway ,as all parties will present a version which saves face, numerous sources say they didnt want to get in a bidding war with UNited because they knew they would lose,so Im not fully agreeing with you,the only certaintly is we don't fully know, but if it makes you feel better to perceive you won a really irrelevant and stty internet argument then ok. You win

Is the right answer...

Maybe a book will come out one day, which I probably won't buy.
