Hate to say it as a leicester fan but i think we will end up going down. Players look like they can't be bothered and when we concede a goal the players heads drop. Hoof ball don't work this time round and there's a big lack of counter attacking!

Hull played well yesterday, Sunderland looked awful.

If Leicester were to be knocked out of the CL, would it focus the mind and result in the team putting renewed effort in staying up or would it destroy what little confidence is left?

Winning titles & getting relegated have 1 thing in common..... momentum.

Last season Leicester had it..... they just kept rolling to the title.... the confidence flowed & it was easy in many ways.

This season is the complete opposite, the momentum is there just in the wrong way. The confidence is shot & getting it back or even stopping the downward spiral is a major problem. A couple of games without defeat even scrappy draws would help, but it's hard to see where that is going to come from. I really like Ranieri, but I don't see him as the guy who can change it round. Notwithstanding that I think the players have to look at themselves. Chelsea had the problem last year.

I really do fear for them this year.

It's amazing the effect that confidence has on the human mind. Doesn't matter what you're doing or how much you get paid, if there's that voice in the back of your head saying you'll fail, you will.

Currently looks like Palace, Sunderland and Leicester for the drop, but it's so tight down the bottom that a couple of wins could change everything. Boro and Bournemouth could easily get sucked in as well.

Am I the only person who thinks that Morgan & Huth should have been the first ones to be replaced ?

They need to start scoring some goals.

When you stop scoring goals you're doomed. Not sure Leicester have started yet this season.

I previously posted that they wouldn't go down earlier this season. I now think they will.

I think Rob has hit the nail on the head. Leicesters current momentum only has one outcome unfortunately.

I really rated particularly Huth last season, but this . . . . . . . . .

Down to the bottom 6 now and if I had a bet, 3 from the current bottom 4 and Hull escaping (Big Sam's looking very down in the dumps. Can't see him pulling it off this time which won't help his standing).

MoD did a piece yesterday comparing Leicester this season with last. Obviously judicious editing going on, but one name stuck out as the major difference - Kante. And that same name looks to be pretty pivotal for Chelsea this season too.

Vardy couldn't hit a barn door at the moment. Mahrez looks like he can't be arsed - got his money and his medal so foot off the gas time? Morgan and Huth have always been brawlers really and without cover in front of them, Schmeicel is dreadfully exposed (and also missing some saves that he'd have taken last season).

Ranieri looks like he has no idea how to stop the rot too. Definitely sounds like the players aren't listening/working for him.

Should we really be that surprised though? They had to scrap to stay up the season before last. And Vardy went on a very dull patch after his initial run and did bugger all for England really - he only scored 5 goals the season before last too, so maybe that marker's more "normal"...? Maybe that's also something to do with Kante?

Would be sad to see them going down, but the statisticians will love it, and at least they won a title.

I don't see them getting past the next round in the CL, and could easily see Millwall beating them in the cup.

Agree with most of that but to be fair Vardy has not been getting the service he needs as a striker.

As you say big Sam looks very down. I wonder if the England job going wrong has effected him mentally?
