Couldn't believe that then. Looked like Madueke was keeping the ball for Palmer and it was Jackson the trouble maker, but either way, ridiculous lack of respect for Palmer and the team there.
Jackson looked like the main culprit to me. 6-0 - Happy for Gilchrist
Cannot see any reason not to fine both a weeks wages for the stupid selfish attitude that could stop palmer picking up the golden boot….
Both need another visit from mr jones to remind them that the team come 1st….
Also don’t want to see that sort of discipline at Wembley against City again….been there seen that
He really is a special talent, is Palmer.
Dele Ali, quoted on the BBC website summed it up:
‘’ This is them showing their age. I'm not there at the training ground every day, but as far as I'm aware in their last big game, in the last minute when the pressure was on I didn't see them all fighting to take it then … "
He’s not wrong.

Pochettino will take note and they'll learn from it like the last time it happened.
I thought Jackson/Noni just wanted some goals, why should we be condemning that.

It's a great point. Properly embarrassing for them to want to take it off someone with a 100% record. Dele Ali, quoted on the BBC website summed it up:

Presumably because he already had 3 goals and it didn't mean anything to the game.
Palmer is class. Was surprised when Pep let him go to another PL team.

Great footballer, bit of a tt apparently. Plus they already have Foden.Presumably because he already had 3 goals and it didn't mean anything to the game.

With his value sky rocketing and your FFP issues and league position, what do you think the likelihood is that you'll be keeping him past the end of the season? If he has a great Euro's he could potentially command £100m+, which would be a considerable profit.
Cold Palmer is just ‘the business’, Maduake and in particular Jackson are complete and utter knobheads ( and also pretty st footballers). Their actions last night at the peno were embarrassing and totally overshadowed what was a great victory, thankfully Palmer just blocked it out and did what he does.
So pleased for Alfie, his reaction to scoring epitomises what it should feel like to score for the club that you love, proper Chelsea lad !

Not sure where you got that from? In interviews, he comes across very mature and talks well. Not bad for someone in their first full PL season and in a sh!t team. A proper talent.I'd have the tt in our team right now. Southgate needs to find a way to shoe horn him into the England side. Can he play LB?
I think it's easy to get carried away with Cole so far.
He's not been to the World Cup, not played European games or had to endure too many Southgate friendlies.
Cole will be kicking at Saka's heels thats for sure. Maddison seems to be more highly rated than palmer, I don't watch Spuds FC but is he?

Question for the forum blues: Who should go at the end of the season? Who CAN go at the end of the season with the ridiculous wage structure we have put in place? Who might HAVE to go to satisfy FFP?
Jackson, Mudryk and Sterling all seem like obvious "outs" but it gets muddier in defense and midfield. Almost everyone has had absolute howlers, giving the ball in dangerous spaces or just switching off and ignoring their opponents movement, but I wouldn't rate any as outright "donkeys" and on paper the potential is there...

Gallagher, Colwill and Palmer are about the only players that can be moved on to make any useful contribution to the bank balance. Potentially £100-150m of profit for those 3.Jackson, Mudryk and Sterling all seem like obvious "outs" but it gets muddier in defense and midfield. Mudryk will be worth a lot less than was paid for him (£90m) so will do the opposite.
The issue is that then leaves an issue with the homegrown numbers as you have to have 8 in a 25 man squad.

I actually think Jackson will develop into a decent player. He's scored a few goals this season and looked good off the left too. Seems to be developing a good understanding with Palmer.Jackson, Mudryk and Sterling all seem like obvious "outs" but it gets muddier in defense and midfield.
