I wanted a 'pool win today. I think City have the slightly easier run in hence no points today to help.
I think a scousers win yesterday would have put them in the driving seat for the title without question.I can't see looking at this how City have an easier run in? Yes, Liverppol still have to go to Utd (hardly a problem for them these days) and go to Villa, but I think the run still favours Liverpool unfortunately.
Liverpool remaining fixtures:

I also feel bad for Ramsdale, brought for a big price tag, pressure to justify it and did. He's definitely a confidence keeper and when he's got it I think he's better than Raya, a few of those games before Christmas we don't drop points with an in form Ramsdale in goal, but would he have been in form?
It's all swings and roundabouts as there may be other times we'd maybe not have won without Raya. Guess it's a bit like yesterday, Raya doesn't make the mistake but he's also never saving that Toney shot. Brentford still scored 1 either way.
Soooo anyway ... we sit top which is of course nice. A draw yesterday is 4 points dropped total for the other 2 teams which is probably the best result. City to play next and annoyingly after the international break, just enough time to disrupt the momentum.

I know you’re away for the Citeh fixture but I fear you’ll have to play like LPool did yesterday in the second half. You sit back and try and counter and they’ll find a way to score, somehow …
Has Arteta got the players, the plan and the nous to take Citeh on. Okay, Liverpool had to come out a bit, being a goal down at HT, but don’t go there for the draw …

Agreed. Toe to toe if the boys can leave the "city fear" behind. Think we're better than them currently.
As for Martinelli, fine leave him out. Trossard has been on fire, get him in.
Musings on the Arsecast that Jesus would be a good replacement for Martinelli on the wing. Interesting idea…his energy might be great in a home game like this.As for Martinelli, fine leave him out. Trossard has been on fire, get him in.
