Im still up for VAR if its done correctly. The Soucek incident lets not kid ourselves, is completely human error and human created, you cannot blame the tools. The issues I saw were:
Mitrovic simulated severe injury with intent to get Soucek sent off
Mason assumed a clenched fist meant intent, which was incorrect
Dean is not football intelligent and doesn't understand why Soucek raised his arm
A player staying on his feet and nothing happens, Mason understanding the clenched fist advice properly and nothing happens, Dean understanding football, and nothing happens.
VAR has been used to make some great calls since its inception catching sneaky stampers and blatant decisions missed by officials, but those are forgotten and ignored in any VAR debate. I do in this instance blame 100% Mitrovic (and football in general look at Salah who dives constantly, Kane that uses his dangerous 'backing in' technique etc) Mason and Dean.
But I'm with the above, I don't celebrate goals now, and that is an utterly terrible consequence of VAR and removes the fundamental of the games enjoyment.

What`s the feeling about tonights little trip oop Norf?
Much more of a hope than an expectation of a result.
As long as we put out a proper side and give it a right good go, that`s all we can ask IMO.
COYI.
Pretty much the same - should've beaten them at home but cocked that one up, our record at OT's crap. Much more of a hope than an expectation of a result.

Hopefully we'll have a bit more energy than Saturday, which was lethargic crap & we were lucky to take a point.
Something of a novelty WHU being on the BBC & not playing away at a League One or Two ground.
There'll be goals this evening.
Edited to add - no Lingard, can't play against Man U for us.

Looks like he’s trying to make us very narrow and packing the midfield.Ukraine’s second highest all time scorer owes us a proper game at centre forward. Not a lot of creativity in their so set pieces may be important.
No Bruno or PP for them , let’s hope it’s not a dullard game and we give it our best.

Can see yarmo being hooked at half time he is pretty much stationary and without possession that’s just not going to work.
If it keeps going like this I’m thinking sod it give mipo a run out, their defensive line is playing so high because yarmo isn’t running in behind which is squeezing it all into our half.
