They aren't solely responsible in all fairness!

Good.

There is already a huge disparity in income between the top two and the rest of the league so reducing that a bit can only help make it more competitive. I'd much rather see the domestic teams competing on a more level playing field at the expense of a few teams getting further in Europe.

Incidentally my favourite European run was when we got a place via the fair play award and we started in the first qualifying round. We got some cracking away days where we could actually enjoy the football rather than facing giants like Sligo right away.

Stange attitude. Whether the "top two" play in the champions league or not, it will do practically zero to change the disparity between their incomes compared to the rest and the relative competetiveness. Unless one of the other teams get bought by a middle Eastern sports-washer or find themselves gifted with a 60000 seat stadiums and 50000+ season ticket holders, they'll never break into the top two. Champions league progression also results in money to the rest of the league teams that they would otherwise go without.

It amazes me how poor Scottish teams apart from The Rangers are in Europe recently, If you look at clubs like Qarabag, Bodo glimt and the Czech teams etc. Celtics record is appalling when you look at the squad value and the other Scottish teams are usually embarrassed and knocked out very early if not at the first opportunity.

Dublin city council will be breathing a sigh of relief this morning for sure given the reputation of the travelling support.

One win from their last 4 and back to back losses at home, will do well to steady the ship given they've described themselves as devastated and tired.
No doubt Beaton & Co will lend a helping hand.

Big win for both Aberdeen and Ross County
Mental comeback from Killie

In championship Raith starting to put proper pressure on United , be interesting to see who get the automatic place

Game off at Dundee today.

Pitch looked like a mud pit at parts and the ball wasn’t moving naturally on sky.

Ross county,Aberdeen,St Johnstone and now the rangers game postponed because of dundees st pitch this season. They should be fined.

The only silver lining is that it helps us work on the injury list during the break.

Nice wee break for a tired team on the ropes...

Looks like there's a space around the 3rd/4th April for it to be played

I’m a nervous Aberdeen fan so great to finally get a league win after such a sh!t period. Could have done without Country getting that result against hearts though!

Cowie seems to have got County going , it’s a pity the international break is now , would have prefered to just get on with
Dreading the possibility of a play off spot , sure it would end being Goodwins United

Seen pictures in the news.

Extreme view** - If you can't keep your house in order then fixtures are reversed until you get it sorted, no share of any revenue either.

  • This is extreme because there is a bit more to reversing a fixture than who orders a team bus that day. Also favours the richest who can invest in the best drainage and grounds keeping.

It is amazing that the rangers have still not won a champions league game in about 20 years. Sure they do rather well in the 2nd tier little competition but let's not forget the fact they are the very worst team in the history of the champions league. A wild and embarrassing stat that you cannot get worse than.

How have Celtic got on in the little 2nd tier comp in recent years?

'About 20 years' is a bit of an unfair stat given they're about to celebrate their 10 year anniversary.

Second statement about being the very bottom, worst team to ever play in the CL is absolutely 100% true though.
A stat that will probably stand forever now given the change of format we're about to see. Ouch.

You are correct sorry - nearly 12 years, thanks for clarifying.

4 forum posts in however many days isn't really a huge impact though... about as long as it takes to click on someones name and look at their posting history, some impact I'm having.

Perfectly understandable, most people are reduced to the arithmetic ability of a chimp while in a rangers induced rage.

Get well soon.
