Nice win but don't want to play UEFA Conference League.
Do we want Europa which is a realistic aim, especially with players coming back?Pommy said:
Away on business so can't watch the game - is the score representative of us being amazing or just Leeds being crap?
I think that it was apoor performance from Leeds that made us look better. No denying there were some sweet goals, but any team with a decent defnece would have not let us get awy with that much space.
What was impressive was the desire - that definitely showed.
Too late in the season, but heh there is the possibility that Spuds will give up points and then who knows what Villa will do.
It's Brighton up there that is strange to see.....

I’d take any European competition. If we end up in the conference league, at least it should result in significant cup progress and a win. Might be 3rd tier competition but a trophy in the cabinet is always welcome.
On the one hand, yes. On the other, more chance of fatigue and injury for little reward. I quite like the Europa league but the conference league isn't that appealing.
Hmmm, I’m not convinced by this new formation… at least not with the current players.
We end up lacking any threat from wide… on the left, Robbo has to sit deeper to make the 3 (he hardly ever got forward last night), and Jones/Jota were poor down that side. On the right, Salah just ends up isolated without Trent as Hendo can’t support him.
We looked good because the opposition were poor… massive holes in the middle for our forwards to exploit, and little counter threat down out right side to pressure Konate… and when they did, we saw he’s not a RFB.
We’ll get ripped apart by teams playing with pace out wide.
