Given last season, it wouldn't be a surprise. I'm going to the game on 25 August. I do hope they go down though, hopefully to be replaced by Leeds or Sunderland or a proper football club with a decent stadium.

I've not lived in Luton for years, or been to Kenny road in even longer, but well done for beating Everton away to notch up our first win of the season.

…and that billion quid has bought Chelsea one more point than us so far. Money well spent, eh Twig?

I made the long trip up on Saturday. Atmosphere in the away end was immense. Couldn't hear anything from the home fans.
It's going to be a long season at the bottom end of the table (we know we will lose plenty) but results like this make those who wrote us off (challenging for Derby's record etc) look a bit silly.

No, we've overpaid for very average players. But regardless of how bad we are, I suspect we will end the season more than a point ahead of Luton. We're rubbish, and we've already beaten them 3-0.

You probably will, but I’m confident we’ll invest the Premier League money wisely, and ensure the club continues to superbly run & sustainably run.

I went to Newcastle today - what a game! Probably a fair result all in, but a shame to let a 4-2 lead slip.

The whole squad looks utterly bought into what Edwards is trying to do.

What an amazing season, Rob Edwards has done an amazing job of galvanising team spirit and bringing on the new additions to the squad, when I saw that we’d signed Ogbene on a free from Rotherham I did wonder if that defined the limit of our ambition to stay up this season but what an incredible job the recruitment team have done getting him and one or two more like him, he must be worth like Alfie Doughty many millions now!
just watching Sheffield United getting utterly dismantle again by Villa, they look a forlorn side, half the home fans have gone home before half time, it’s sadly gone very wrong for them.

Ogbene was sensational today, his pace and direct dribbling caused all sorts of issues. He’s an exciting player to watch, and always gives the feeling he can create something. Takes pressure off the defence too - if he can run 50 yards with the ball, it alleviates so much.

What Howe was thinking playing Dan Burn when it was Ogbene who was going to be running at him, is beyond me, and most other Newcastle fans! The lad has pace!

Great game though, I think your lot showed amazing fight and resilience to come back from two down. It was great entertainment, and really could have gone either way!

If you were at the game on Tuesday as well then you’ve had one hell of a week! Our performances continue to improve week by week and the actual results are now starting to reflect that. It takes me back to our free-scoring past when we had Justin and Stacey causing trouble down the wings.

I was indeed - I’ve been fortunate enough to see every home (season ticket) & away victory this season!

Says something I’m a little disappointed not to get three points away at Newcastle. I’m not quite sure what that something is, mind!

It was a great game to watch for a neutral. I can’t see how the Newcastle 4th goal wasn’t disallowed for a foul on Barkley.

I thought that watching it in real time but it’s difficult to tell from so far away.

Forest, supporter in peace, just popping in to say well done.
You really are showing how it should and can be done, with some really exciting football.
I hope you stay up, not at the expense of us obviously, but their are several teams who are not playing with the same passion as you so think you will be alright.
Not sure whether you have suffered from the plethora of injuries modern Premiership footballers seem to get, and whether if injuries will challenge your possibly limited squad, but I hope not thumbup

Just giving the Luton boys a bump up today. Thought you were unlucky (again) not to get anything from today’s game. At the start of the season I had you nailed on for the drop, but the team really do give it a go. We ( Chelsea) were lucky to hang on to a 3-0 lead as were Utd today, Arsenal, City etc gave all had a scare and got the wins. Out of the 3 who came up I now think you are the only ones with a chance if staying up playing like that. Barkley is playing to his potential after we ruined another decent prospect. Good luck for the rest of the season, decent gaffer too by the way 👍

Cheers Monty, it's been far better than most of us ever expected. The football has been a joy to watch and whilst Barclay rightly gets all the praise the whole squad have taken a massive step up. Who knows what'll happen come the end of the season but either way we've made a few 'experts' who had us 'down by Christmas' look a bit silly. Off to Anfield tonight in hope rather than expectation.
