Saka out for Foden? The 'hot hand fallacy' in full effect!
Have you ever heard the phrase ‘Pep roulette’?I nearly rolled my FT but saw the news on Foden and did a quick Saka —> Havertz swap to make sure I had a full midfield
Captain on Haaland.

68 points for me - an almost bang average week was rendered slightly better by the auto sub of Foden (nil points) for Porro (11 points). All my defenders and midfielders returned, nothing from the keeper (Kelleher) or the forwards (Jackson and Solanke). Still not great, but better than it could have been.
My plan now is to roll the dice and go against the template strategy and WC this week to then BB in 34. I'd then FH in 37 per the template. I only have one mini league that I am anywhere near having a chance of winning, and I can't beat my best ever points total, so just going to have a bit of fun in the remaining rounds.

Very bang average for me - 59, just three above the week's average.
Everyone gained points for me although four of them scored just one point and that was three defenders + a keeper. Seems to be very few clean sheets about at the moment, hard to pick a decent back line.
Haaland (c) and Watkins did well + assists for four other players, just the point that you can't climb your leagues when your defence rarely, if at all, contributes.

I guess like all things in FPL - "it depends". The days of "big at the back" templates are long past and most of the pros are only playing 3 at the back so that they can play 5 in midfield as that's where the majority of the hauls are coming from this season. And the defenders they do pick are chosen based on attacking threat rather than clean sheet potential because the clean sheets have been less forecastable this season.48k said:
