He was pants after getting those two red cards in quick succession in March.

He was dire until about October/November and dire from about March onwards. It was obvious his legs had gone least season, he was running through treacle toward the end of it.

Admittedly in his little purple patch in between he was decent, but either side of it was a sign of things to come.

People made lots of excuses for him (some argued he needed a run of games, whilst others argued he'd played too many games) but the reality was he's physically shot and we've seen a continuation of that this season unfortunately.

Wilcox is in place now.

Hopefully Ashworth can be sorted out soon, then we can start getting the work done for next season.

Plenty on here get swept up.

Henderson, Gomes, Elanga, Zidane Iqbal, Hannibal Mejbri all going to be world beaters, all now gone. Probably loads more if we go through each year.
Honestly don’t recall anyone claiming the above .
I think there is a big difference between saying ‘I’ve heard so and so in the under18s looks really promising’ and overhyping .
Morrison was overhyped , I knew people who were allowed to watch training sessions and they would say ‘this kid is incredible , never seen anything like it ‘

I really hope Chelsea win this. They’re so wasteful in the final 3rd that we might stand a chance if we reach the final too.

We'll start strong 2nd favourites, whoever we play in the final.

Mount injured. Another really appalling example of recruitment.

Yep, madness that one. Kambwala injured too, so we only have one fit CB now in Maguire. God only knows what we do to them in training. Oh, and Amrabat too, because we can't have that as a defensive option either. Casemiro at CB with Maguire? Jesus I hope they don't have pace. McTominay is back though, so it will be a McTom Mainoo midfield I guess.

edit, and Maguire hasn't trained all week biglaugh. You can't make this season up.

Which neutral fans will be cheering for us tomorrow?

Any of Coventry's Midlands rivals?

I may be wrong but I seem to remember that McT played emergency CB for the sweaties.
It’s a desperate situation anyway and I just hope we can cope somehow.

Got a U17 CB on the bench, two more youth full backs. Maguire was injured against Bournemouth and had to carry on playing.

Will either be Casemiro or McSauce at CB.

The good thing about Casemiro at centre back is we don’t have to watch him waddling around the midfield 10 minutes behind play. Every cloud and all that smile

I like Coventry, it is a seat of culture and bastion of civility and architecture.

But my, we really need to smash their back-doors in, today.

The bad thing is it’s like a guaranteed red card
