Loving this, he has absolutely earned his call up for the senior team and his ability is plain for all to see.

He’s pure class!

even more so that we stuffed the Scousers and their nonsense quadruple chat but it’s maintaining that now that really matters.
Whilst mathematically possible I don’t think many LFC fans thought that was ever on, that was the same papers printing clickbait you rightly are lambasting.

Suspect City will win the league but we have a decent chance in EC although a knock out competition is always 50/50

I agree ,arsenals run in is toughest so can’t see them doing it , yours is a bit tougher than city’s but it is in your hands currently , your games against us and Arsenal will be key .

It's a media push. Nobody in their right mind would even consider it and IF INEOS have even thought about it for more than a second then they are as clueless as the Glazers and heaven help us because if they can get it this wrong with the manager then just think of the players that they're going to sign!

Wouldn’t surprise me if the press / media outlets had expected us to get spanked by Liverpool on Sunday, so they had all of their anti-ETH narrative prepared and ready to go but we tore up script with the win hehe

The above certainly hasn’t helped. No one has mentioned what Southgate wants either! If he wins the Euros this summer you’d think he’d want to have another go at the World Cup hence delaying his decision until the tournament is over.

It’s United and we are used to it. News about us used to,sell papers it now delivers clicks and ad revenue. As a comparison, Mido was on talkSPORT yesterday and mentioned that Salah had already signed to go to Saudi, read anything about that today? Of course not. It was a similar load of nonsense but it’s not United and it’s not the England manager.

I don’t think ETH is going anywhere…

Agree completely with all that, I also think he’s here for the foreseeable future.

There’s an epic clip doing the rounds on WhatsApp of the winning goal, that was filmed from the Liverpool supporters section… pure scenes biggrin

The "Stick to football" discussion on it was ridiculous, only Jill actually had the balls to say she didn't see it. All the others were a variation of "well, I never thought of it before but now they've mentioned it, yes I see it". So basically they don't see it either but are too pathetic to actually say what they think.

Except for Wrighty, who probably is being genuine, but as much as I like him I wouldn't ask him for advice on management - his view seems to be "well he wears the right clothes for a Utd manager so of course I can see him doing it".

They are just adding their own comments on it. They might personally think he could fit, or they 'could' see him on the touchline. Everyone has an opinion, whether you or I agree with it or not.

Its a slow news week, internationals are on and the media have got nothing else to cover. Stories like this give them loads of content which can be dragged out. Its funny how one story from one journo can command such coverage.

I see Southgate has rubbished the rumours yesterday.

Standard of sports journalism is really poor in the tabloids.
