And entourage? What entourage? hehe
Thought you might have your very own security team by now considering your stature at the club. biggrin

Ha, not likely.

Well that was an anti-climax. As GJ says, thats the story of our season in one game. Go close to nicking a goal with two shots against the crossbar then concede and lose the game. But the squad has been too small, not enough quality up front, 31 points thrown away from winning positions and fourteen games where we've been ahead and either drawn or lost. That's poor.

Tried to keep going but that's it. Having a meal with four of the players on Monday night which will be a joyous occasion (Palazuelos, Webster, Lanzoni and Dawson) but so proud of the team for how they've done. We've been a football club for 119 seasons now and that's only our third relegation ever.

Still, enough of the thread hijacking, hope you lot go up though it will be difficult now. Good luck. thumbup

Would be miraculous for Forest to even get a play off spot, never mind actually win the thing.

Essentially we need to win the next five matches to go up, and I just don't see it.

Whilst I agree that the fat lady has nearly sung, it isn't over till it's over.

Yes we beat Leeds and Brum, but they are both awful sides. The next two game Are different as they are both hungry sides.

We are still fortunate to be where we are after going 13 without a win.

I still maintain that Pearce needs to get rid off all the dead wood & that would be at least 8 or 9 players in my opinion. If they are serious about promotion, they have to take it seriously because this season has proved that we do not have depth in numbers & we can not rely on certain players to get us results.

I see Saturdays game is now on sky, the ground is going to be empty! (Especially at 32 quid a pop)

Will be a good boost for the players if they come out for their lap of honour and everyone's buggered off home hehe
If they play poorly I can see everyone walking out at half time!

I agree DS but surely having the camers there will generate as much income?

Income maybe, But Football is all about Atmosphere surely. It needs to be full on the last day and it won't be because of Sky. Although I am looking forward to hopefully ruining their play offs hopes (Me Bitter?....)

Speaking of Brighton. You need to stop your Homophobic chants mate hehe

FOREST said:
Nottingham Forest and Nottinghamshire Police have issued the following statement ahead of Saturday’s home match against Brighton and Hove Albion (kick-off 12.15pm).
The club, along with the police, would like to place on record that homophobic chanting will not be tolerated.

Supt Mark Holland, the match commander, said: “We have been made aware that over the years Brighton and Hove Albion FC have had to put up with a small minority of people who have started or joined in with homophobic chants. Alongside the clubs, we are taking a zero-tolerance approach to this type of verbal abuse and we will be taking positive action to identify anyone who is involved. We want everyone to enjoy the game without causing any unnecessary distress.

“Both clubs fully back this approach and Forest also host an antisocial behaviour text service that allows people to report any such behaviour.

“We want supporters to enjoy the match without being offensive to others with chants which are likely to cause offence.”

Nottingham Forest media and communications manager Ben White fully endorsed the message, saying: “The club will not tolerate this kind of antisocial behaviour at The City Ground and will take the strongest possible action against anyone who is involved in such behaviour.

“We are active in our efforts to remove this type of abuse from our matches and we will not condone any form of chant that may be perceived as offensive, aimed towards our own or the visiting supporters.

“We would like to work with supporters to provide the most enjoyable matchday experience possible and fully encourage them to use our ‘text reporting facility’ in order to report any behaviour they feel is offensive.”

So it's ok for them to sing chants towards other teams? Ok might not be songs about being a limp risted doughnut puncher but they are just as bad as any other fans out there.

rofl Well played lads.

Hope Trent Bridge Inn has a table tomorrow at 8.30 so I can get a breakfast and a pint. I'm strangely looking forward to tomorrow, Suppose it's the last bit of live football to see in a while!

What was Collins doing for their 2nd. He just stood there with his hands in the air. He could easily put it out for a corner, dreadful defending.
Cannot wait for Hobbs to be fit he is a class above Collins.
On the positive side McLaughlin looked really good again, a great prospect and Mackie worked his socks off at right back.

If anyone is out tonight, all the Lads are out.

Just see Reidy, Collins, Peltier, Wilson, Harding Mackie and a couple more in Saltwater in town.
