An indicator that Lascelles is going?

I prefer to think of it as ushering Halford, Collins and Wilson out of the door.
Yes Wilson. Played half a dozen games last season, already injured this season. This is why I was wary when he re-signed for us.
Wilson, wow.

I think in time an un-injured Wilson could prove to be the best defender in the league!

I wouldn't go that far. He's good, but not that good.
We didn't miss him when Laschelles and Hobbs played together.

My real concern is how prone to injury he is.
I'd prefer a player with 80% of the talent who could play 100% of the games. We've no shortage of talent in Lascelles, Hobbs and now Lang and Manciennes I think we can get by without him.

Jack Hunt arrived on loan & Billy Davies looking likely to go to Blackpool! Wonder if he will approach SP for possible loan signings..........

If he does he's bound to sign Dobbie! He loves scoring past us! I've heard Blackpool are after Ish Miller as well.

That really winds me up more than it should hehe

My local side hosted Leicester last night and Leicester beat them 6-1.
We beat them 4-0
and Derby Managed a 0-0 biggrin

What a first game of the season it will be if Billy goes to Blackpool. Although will his touch line ban still be in effect?

We've had Simon Gillett, an ex Nottm Forest midfielder, on trial with us this last week. I know him from a previous loan spell he had with us when he was at Southampton but he has really impressed since he's been trialling.

Very small but does the dirty work in midfield and can pick a pass too.

Maybe he's just found his level. After all, even Boobles has a level at which he looks a decent player. scratchchin

Gillet could do a good job at Yeovil.
The same as Henderson could do a good job at Orient.

Perhaps they've found their level or just never had a chance at Forest.

I sit next to an Orient fan and we were discussing Henderson the other day. I classed him as one of those who (a huger portion of) Forest fans never took to.
One misplaced pass and they'd be on his back, ignoring the times when he had an excellent touch. A longer run in the team would have really helped him but with our style of play he was never going to get that.

Good luck to them both.

We were having a conversation about Henderson the other night too, Everyone slates him but I didn't mind him really.

Without him we would have been 9-10 points worse of last season, The amount of times he came on and scored the winner/equaliser.

Have the "excuses" started already at NFFC?
"Plenty of pluses" from last nights game even though we lost!

Now I know it's only a friendly & SP will be trying out different players/systems etc but the same could have been said for Rotherham so I don't but into these post match interviews because the fact is, we lost!
