Shame to see Radi leave, hopefully first team football will reinvigorate his career.

Hendo will score a bucket full there.

Really sad to see Radi leave but as you say, it may get him back to his best & then we get him back.....

I was a big fan of Radi but last season I don't think he added a great deal to the squad or the games he played in. He always looked slow to respond - lazy almost.

How come we can turn down Spurs and Arsenal but not bloody Newcastle?!

Is it a done deal then?

Really? I hope not. Although I did see potentially it was going to have a loan back arrangement for 1 season?

Actually, thinking about this some more.

Whilst I do like to see us retaining our youth products, if they can be sold at good prices with sell on clauses etc. than I can get comfortable with it. To be fair, we could do a lot with £7m income hitting the accounts with FFP looming large over us.

Furthermore, I think there is more than enough cover at CB at the club with the likes of Wilson, Hobbs, Halford, Collins (meh)and the new signings in defence like Mancienne and the fella from Barca.

GK is slightly harder to swallow as although De Vries has been good in the past you wonder if he has played enough first team football recently? A loan back would work well, although given the links Psycho has with Butland, I'd like that deal too.

My thoughts exactly Miln, now I've calmed down a bit I don't think it's too bad.

Plenty of cover at Cb and Gk.

I don't even want them back on loan tbh, their heart won't be in it, and it takes 2 places in our total loanees for the season.

Can't blame them for going but it just makes a shambles of Darlows statement recently 'I'm going nowhere' and Fawazs 'we are not a selling club'

Match talk should be good tonight, radio nottingham at 6pm. Stuart Pearce is on it, can see there being a few angry callers hehe

But if the deal goes through as expected (ie including loan back) cover or lack of it in either position doesn't matter. Because Darlow and Lascelles will both be Forest players next season.

If Hobbs and Sicknote (Wilson) are first choice, which they would have been last season would Lascelles even play? Don't get me wrong he's a good player and made the most of his opportunity but we our theoretical best defence doesn't include him.

In the list of centre backs don't forget Fox who had an excellent game against WBA on Saturday.

Lastly, reports not that SP saying they were sold against his advice, "I thought we could have pushed for a higher figure". Disappointing if true. Of course a higher figure may have meant less add ons and may have precluded the loan back.

Yep, that's what we were saying earlier. Lascelles doesn't even get in a first choice 11.

This matchtalk phone in could get hairy!

He's just confirmed he knew nothing about them being sold, he told the owners definetly not to sell them last week.

He doesn't sound too happy.
His transparency is refreshing though.

And apparently Saturday morning he said no again.

I think he's coming across very well, open and honest.

For me the problem isn't about selling the players, it's the fact that they did it behind SP back. This I don't like.

yes

Rumours gathering pace that Lansbury is off to Burnley today.

Also rumours that we sold to Newcastle because they pay cash up front rather than in installments like most clubs, the Lamsbury deal seems to be of a similar ilk.

Fawaz is skint?....

Yes, the behind the back bit stinks.

Apparently an announcement is due this morning but I don't know on what. Fawaz is getting a proper beating on Twitter this morning.

Fawaz. He said so on Twitter last night during the abuse he was being given.

I hear Nffc, Fawaz and Pearce were all trending last night in the Uk...

FFS I can see this ending really badly for us because you have two very strong charactors in Fawaz & Pearce, neither is likely to back down!
