True, but if you saw how we are playing I don't think you'd be so positive hehe

Why is it all going so wrong? Is Reidy & Cohen not being in the squad really the differnce?

Not sure what the difference is at the moment, such a competitive league.

Bad times though, really need a shot in the arm at the moment to get back some confidence.

Britt is being starved of service IMO.
Teams are doubling up on Antonio so he can't work his magic and Lansbury seems off the boil to me? (New contract syndrome?)

We played ok first half on Saturday, second half it looked like we went more 4/5/1 and the wheels fell off!

Still as you say. Not a bad league position but no wins in 9(?) is a bit poor

Based on Saturday I think it's Hobbs who would have made the difference.

Mancienne made the first mistake I've seen him make.
Gestede was the difference though, thug of a foward (wearing gloves FFS!) caused us trouble. I've never had 100% confidence in Wilson.

I thought Tesche was outstanding, some of the through balls he played definitely deserved better finishing. Tesche and Vaughan could be the ideal formation for me.
A lot of people on Saturday questioned Fryatt's removal and assumed we went to 4-5-1, defending a 1-0 lead. I'm not convinced.
Firstly, just before he went off, Fryatt was right in front of us and looked shattered. He'd also been playing RM with Burke - who chased everything - behind Assombalonga.

When Lansbury came on Burke initially moved to RM as Blackburn were about to take a throw. Henri ushered him back up front.
Even so, Lansbury has played in the number 10 role several times, so him coming on does not mean we automatically went 4-5-1.

It did seem a condidence thing though, at 1-0 the other team will always feel they have a chance and once they scored they were clearly very motivated as our heads started to drop.

PS the ref was awful (aren't they all), he seemed reluctant to give free kicks for most of the game which lead to four consecutive fouls (not all by Blackburn) on the edge of their area with only the last being given.

Not at all, Forest.

ETA I've always been sceptical about Psycho's appointment but hope this is just a blip. However he didn't exactly set Man City or the U21's alight did he.

The U21s that hadn't qualified for the latter stages of a tournament since 1988 but then got to semi final and final?
Just qualified for their 5th successive tournament..... although Southgate seems to be getting the plaudits for all of that.

Was a very good player whilst at Blackpool, until his father tried to play everything through him.

Also one of the most one footed (left) players I've seen. So really suffers when against a good defender/defence. You could give him half the pitch to the right of him undefended and he'll still try to go down the left.

Should be good again now he back in the championship

He probably had no choice/options but to play that way at Blackpool, I mean let's be honest they were pretty ste even with him! hehe

He now has decent players around him & I think he will do well for us.

We signed Ince when we got relegated from the Prem, so wasn't in the team when we beat you 4 times in 1 season hehe

Don't think we'll be beating you again for a long time frown

From the sounds of it, it could have been 7 or 8. Although we do sound a bit better second half.

Not good enough.

Looking forward to his post match press conference hehe

I think it's about time these players stood up & be counted!

Some of them are getting chances to play because of 2 crucial players being out with injuries & these players are NOT stepping up to it yet they will moan & look disappointed when said injured players are back & they are dropped.

Britt Assombalonga came out before the game & said that the arrival of Tom Ince will give everybody a "lift" - seriously Britt, earning 20k per week + isn't enough insentive to go out there & give 100% week in week out? Some of these players need to take a long hard look at wether or not they want to play for our club & let's be honest, most of them wouldn't even get a look in in the Prem so are they playing like this knowing that their future is only playing in lower leagues, hence "milking" it for as long as they can in the Championship & earn huge wages!!!
