Could Collymore have genuinely helped or is he a mouthy Brummie with an over-inflated opinion of what he could do?
Have to say, I can't stick it when he's commentating and he always seems to think highly of himself when he talks.
I see where you are coming from but I think any help Fawaz can get would be welcome, I can see him upping and leaving soon if this carries on.Have to say, I can't stick it when he's commentating and he always seems to think highly of himself when he talks.

32% win ratio I think it was. Is that our ambition?
Well that'd be an improvement from our last 20-odd games! we don't know fully what has been said, so i suspect that SP being the honest person he is probably told Fawaz he couldn't do it anymore etc.
I was shocked at how fast DF was announced, sounds like stuff had been going on long before this weekend, and i am surprised at Faulkner going, mind we don't know what he's been working with.
As much as it pains me to say it, our neighbours down the a52 have at least got the club on an even keel with the business side of things and I think that helps the on pitch performances.
I hope we stay up, i'm confident we will, I'd even take Colin wker at the CG to get us winning.
We should be winning with these players.

The media have been their usual irritating selves through this - for the last few wels it's been "pressure is mounting in Pearce", "how much longer can he last" etc., but now it's basically "Fawaz is impatient and trigger happy" "Forest will get nowhere without stability" etc
a week is a long time in politics and 24 hours is even longer in the media. the hypocrisy they show constantly shouldn't amaze me these days, but it constantly does.Copy & pasted from the fans forum on official site.
Nail on the head me thinks....
As people know I do not criticise people in my letters. I try to just state facts and ask questions. So:
1) Steve Cotterill, now doing a magnificent job at Bristol City, is sacked by he Al Hasawi regime with no explanation offered. Why?
2) Sean O'Driscoll takes the team to fourth place in the championship on Boxing Day 2012 after a magnificent performance against Leeds United and is sacked after playing the best brand of football seen at the City Ground since the time of Paul Hart( hope people see that as a fact not an opinion) Why?
3) Alex Mcleish, a reasonable success in previous managerial jobs, leaves after only 40 days. Why?
4) Billy Davies is appointed and brings all his horrid baggage and attitude with him. Why? It is no surprise when he is sacked.
5) Paul Faulkner resigns as CEO of Nottingham Forest after 6 months - a man with a fine reputation in the game - after the dismissal of Stuart Pearce. Why? And for good measure:
6) Steve McLaren was a success at Manchester United and Middlesbrough and is doing a fabulous job At Derby County. His reign - albeit brief - was a disaster at the City Ground. Why? Are the above points just unfortunate coincidence?
I leave you to make up your own mind.

TBH the only two of those I think were mistakes in letting go were SOD and Faulkner. All the others were poor choices in the first place. Nail on the head me thinks....

Yes stability is needed, but there's no point sticking with someone who isn't right for the job.
Fawaz is a disaster, the c&p above shows how irrational he is, no long term plan, strategy & no decisions or appointments made with such in mind.
The fact he appointed SP based on his status & not his managerial ability / record shows how clueless he is, this was always going to happen.
