Just gets better & better doesn't it!

Now under a full transfer embargo so can't even take in loan players due to over payment of 1.5m to Peterborough for Assombalonga.

Why oh why do we have somebody in charge worth almost 1 billion yet can't seem to pay the bills!
Isn't the first time the bills have been forgotten about.

After watching this I actually like Dougie's attitude towards the club & his realistic ambitions - winning games!

Fawaz has just tweeted saying he will pay the bill ASAP, and once he does we can still make loan signings under ffp rules.

But tbh, I agree with DF, we shouldn't need to, our squad is good enough!

I don't actually use Twitter, I just have a look on when something news/forest related happens as it is good for quick information.

My opinion is that Fawaz probably takes too much notice of what people on there say.

I've just had a quick look through comments made to him, it looks like equal parts of praise and abuse tbh.

This overdue payment, is from the time Faulkner was CEO! So an even bigger question why it has not been paid and what was he really doing as CEO.

Or the other way to look at it, Fawaz holds the purse strings and wants to run the club himself. cEO feels undermined and feels as though he cannot perform his job correctly so leaves?

Edit to add - that ties in nicely with what Warnock said when he declined the managers job here....

Just appeared on Twitter:

"would you ever step down as chairman and just be the owner"

Fawaz's response:

"I will soon from everything"

Tom Ince is an arrogant pillock.

However he wasn't given the best chance to shine under Psycho's recent tactics.

John McGovern has today said Fawaz made the comment as, "A bit of a joke, he's got a sense of humour."

Good!

Actually looking forward to tomorrow's game and expecting a win. I'd forgotten what that feels like! The black dog of impending defeat is nowhere to be seen wink

Danny Collins back in the middle and fullbacks playing on their correct side of the pitch!
Interesting strategy Dougie.
I feel for DeVries though, felt he was playing better than Darlow.
