Phew, we needed that one.
Listening to the first half, I was really worried it seemed all one way traffic.
Ben Osborn really coming of age.

De Vries has signed a two year contract. I'm pleased with that.

I thought contract talks were on hold?
Lets hope this hasn't been done behind Dougie's back & already put his nose out of joint!

Sometimes, chairmen need to sit down and keep quiet and I think I'd be cheesed off if Fasawi had made this threat.

Also made me laugh when he said sacking Pearce was "the hardest decision I've had to make at the club". He's only been there 2.5 years... not much of a timeline really. The reason I chuckled is that our chairman said exactly the same last week when he sacked our manager but that was after 23 years on the board.

I think I'd still rather have a quiet chairman than a maverick somehow.

I agree GM. Sometimes I feel that these owners think they know more about football than they actually do & they end up doing more harm than good.

He's supposed to be "difficult" to manage though.

Good to see a youngster thinking about his career rather than going to the biggest club he can.

A great win tarnished by Assombalonga's knee injury - the mood of the whole place dropped when he went off. Could be out for weeks.

Great win & hope Assombalonga is ok.... Maybe an oportunity to have a look in the loan market for a striker?

laugh

My head says no chance, we're still closer to relegation than the playoffs in terms of points; but my heart says this is when the higher placed teams start getting nervous and dropping points, and there's always one team that makes a late run and sneaks in.... hehe

12 points away from a play off spot, 16 games to go...

I guess there is always a chance, however this being Forest, we will probably get into a play off spot, in the next eight games, and then lose the rest.

Looking at the fixture list I make 13 wins and 3 draws. That will give us 82 points which should be enough. I might go to the Cardiff match for the pre-playoff party. hehe
