not the greatest draw for the cup, but still a pl side.
by all accounts last nights match wasn't a great one, but we had plenty of chances to put them to the sword, just didn't take them.
the only person last night to have a worse game than direby city was the ref at our match apparently
and we got the point with 10 men and could have got all three from the highlights i've seen.
happy not to be losing, frustrated we aren't winning with the players we have out there and optimistic with the players we are waiting on

Vaughan's red card appealed.
Appeal fails.
Meanwhile two appeals by premiership teams mean red cards are rescinded.
It's as if the Football League isn't as important or something.
God knows what the appeal panel were thinking, Vaughan didn't make any contact at all with the guy's nose as he alleged. Should be subject to the ban himself for simulation and getting a player sent off. It happened recently in non-league.
Good job Teshce and Gardner are back, but in two games we've lost the centre mid pairing that has been working very well together.
Appeal fails.

Well a fine win over the bottom of the table side, and Lord knows we have lost a few of those in the last few years. Appeal fails.

Into the top half, don't think we will make the playoffs this year, too far back and its way to competitive. But would like to see us make a strong run in.
No still here, just been a bit busy to post anything.
Another geat result today, DF is really proving his doubters wrong, so pleased Fawaz has learnt his lesson!
Really pleased for Leicester though, never hated the team or the fans unlike another of our close neighbours, whose season again looks like it could implode

Daft decision. Just don't get it.
Sadly, I think it's the beginning of the end. Gates are massively down (Tuesday night, Preston was the lowest league attendance since April 2008) the club aren't guaranteed to be out of embargo in the summer, the club is forever at the high court and, are 9 points from a relegation battle.
I also think season ticket renewals will be massively down.
Will I renew? Yes, I think I will, the club needs loyal fans.

The thing is though football is a results business & lets be honest, most championship clubs would love to have the players available that Dougie had even with all the injuries he still had a team to pick from that most managers would love! So I get why he has been sacked to be honest, just to inconsistent.

I don't get it either. Who in their right mind would come here? No money to spend and 7 managers in 4 years?Sadly, I think it's the beginning of the end. Billy?
But on the other hand, Saturday was absolutely dreadful. Wednesday weren't a bad side but we made them look like Barca at times.
Another thing that grated on me was when their bloke got sent off, The challenge did look quite nasty from where I was, but not one of our lot looked mad, or squared up to their players. (Not that i'm condoning it, But previously Dex or someone would be the first person to any challenge having a word. Just looked like no one could be arsed to me.
I don't mind losing if we show some heart, but there was none.
Saturday should be interesting
