For me, on Saturday we need to revert to MGW sitting behind CHO, Awoniyi and Elanga. Clearly our best attacking option.
I think we are starting to miss Mangala really badly in midfield, and I'm not really sure of our best combination but I just can't see Sangare being up for it. Dominguez and Danilo perhaps works best, although maybe Yates would be better for his spirit.
I think Murillo needs someone more experienced alongside him than Omobamidele.
We are definitely missing Mangala, did so much unnoticed work.I think we are starting to miss Mangala really badly in midfield, and I'm not really sure of our best combination but I just can't see Sangare being up for it. For me against Luton's height and physicality Boly should be in there alongside Murillo and I would stick Yates in for his tenacity.
Maybe Aina for Toff if he is fit?
Agree with you that CHO, TA and AE have to start. We really need to go for this game, take it to them like we haven't really done in the last few games, absolutely no point in sitting back and letting them attack us and try to hit them on the break. We also need to make sure we don't give them too many deal ball situations around our area.
The number of stupid fouls we give away in dangerous positions is ridiculous for a team so poor at defending set prices.
Not sure if Boly will be fit enough. He was on the bench v Brighton. If fit I think he should be an automatic given his prowess in the air. Otherwise I'd bring in Felipe.
I like Yates, but his recent run in the team has resulted in 3 defeats and zero goals!

And can we have toff taking corners etc not mgw. I’d even think of benching mgw then bringing him on later to give him a kick up the arse
I get where you are coming from, but every time MGW has come off the bench we have looked so much better. But generally too late for him to really influence the game.petemurphy said:

Whilst I don't think MGW is a great deadball deliverer, our poor corners seem to me to be a lack of creativity rather than just poor ball delivery.I can't think of one time where we haven't just punted the ball into the melee in the penalty box, whereas there have been some superb creative corners from our opponents and other teams in general.
This to me is just poor coaching from our deadball coaches, surely not just a MGW issue?

How about Boly alongside Omobamidele and push Murillo into the defensive midfield where we miss Mangala? Not sure if Boly will be fit enough. He was on the bench v Brighton. If fit I think he should be an automatic given his prowess in the air. Otherwise I'd bring in Felipe.

Could work, but worth remembering Murillo still has only played about 50 first team games, so may be a bit early in his career.Forest fans sounding in good voice.

We must be the worst team at defending corners and the worst team at taking corners.
Yup, can't disagree with that. What I do disagree with is all the loons blaming the loss on Nuno for taking off MGW and Wood......with Awoniyi out we have 1 fit striker. MGW was decent today but he covers a lot of ground and was seeming to get tired. It's pretty standard to go defensive when 1 up with 10 mins to play. And those subs had no impact on us failing to defend a corner (again).
I actually don't think it's a terrible result and arguably worse for Luton. They have 3 difficult fixtures in their next 4.
