does that mean we've given up this season? what if brazil got us promoted! why did sp reject it at first - did money force him to come?

great to have a legend but little worried whether he's a good manager or not.

with the right team though could be great just shame he cant start now

I guess the players have been told to give it their all for the remainder of the season.

Pearce turned us down initially because of family issues (divorce I think) & his commitments to the world cup because Fawaz wanted him to take charge straight away but he couldn't do this hence he has now agreed to take over on the 1st July.

Ishmael Miller has returned to you guys after a "breach of club discipline".

Gary Johnson said on local radio last night that they had a team meeting after last Saturday's debacle. They then had another one on Tuesday after training and he brought up about several of the players leaving straight after training rather than hanging round with their team mates, getting a massage etc. Brought up the question as to whether it was good for team morale or not, used two or three names as examples (including Miller).

Miller took offence, refused to take any part in the discussion then walked out the dressing room stating he didn't want to play again for the club. Johnson then revealed its the third time he's done that so no complaints from me that he's gone back. Apparently, he can't play for you now and neither can he go out on loan somewhere else so he's in limbo.

His sister was bigging him up on Twitter last night saying the truth will come out one day blah blah. But a former director of a local club to me told me yesterday that he didn't even ought to be given a job in a drive through.... hehe

Disgraceful

I don't give a s**t what happens now.

Because the manager nor the board nor the players do.

Fully appreciate why the manager would want players to hang around etc, but the players technically don't have to do this. I am not defending Miller or anyone else but the manager shouldn't single out just one or two players if this was the case, he should have mentioned every single player who he feels wasn't giving enough. Miller will obviously have his say & only the people in the dressing room will know the truth.

I'd imagine the academy chiefs signed him. Do first team managers usually get involved in scouting and signing youth players any more?

I, along with everyone who sits around me did not see us pull it back to 3-3. Could have been 4-3 to Forest too.

Equally, it could easily have been 4-3 to Sheffield Wednesday!

We could have been 5-0 down at the break!

Pato is a genius, that free kick was epic.

Tonight was weird, we've slipped down the table, but actually closer to the play offs in points. Confusing! hehe

Glad Collins is out now, Hope Kelvin is back. Someone told me tonight that Qpr game is on sky at the weekend frown

We didn't half accumulate some high wage striker tat under Billy:

Simon Cox, Darius Henderson, Matt Derbyshire, Ishmael Miller, Dexter Blackstock, Jamie Mackie, Rafik Djebbour, Marcus Tudgay.

Of that lot I'd only keep Cox & Blackstock. Hopefully the rest will be cleared out and Pearce will unearth another SVC.
