From what I understand, I thought the approval of the FA was sealed weeks and weeks ago. These allegations seem to be coming very late in the process.

Sounded like a cracking game yesterday, even though it is hard to get excited about football in early August.

It was great to see 5 academy players there & although conceding 3 goals at home is never a good sign, at least we still scored more than them!

We are awful in defense & we have scraped through 2 wins by beating both teams that came up from league 1.....

Brighton who in my opinion arean't that great made us look silly although the team selection for that game was shockingly wrong/bad.

Well didn't we make hard work of that?! Three points yes but they didn't come easily.

Matty Cash didn't look comfortable all night, Kasami just terrible and I think should have come off for Vaughan at half time. Assombalonga didn't really set things on fire but glad he came on for the second half.

Still, 9 from 9 will do!

Think Newcastle were always going to park the bus once down to 9 players so credit to us for consistently asking questions of their defense! I actually thought that it was going to finish 1-1 so I have to give credit where credit is due! Had it been 11 v 11 I think Newcastle would have battered us!

A win is a win, mate. Think you are spot on with your summary though as the longer the game went on, I could see it ending one apiece. Impressed with Lansbury last night, very lively. Hope the takeover goes through smoothly and you can get Forest back where they should be.
