Well chaps what do we think

Warburton, seems like he knows what he is doing and should work well with McParland given their history.
Hopefully we can get a great start to his career on Saturday with a famous win over the Sheep.
Quite pleased with this appointment and his deputy, one of the better managers we could have hoped for.
We now have a good manager and deputy, a DoF, a CFO all we need now is a CEO and for Fawaz to let them run the club as a football club should be run.
All this tempered down by news that the Greek is sniffing around again.

Greeks back on the scene, takeover in two weeks.
All his legal issues dropped so no fit and proper person problems, FL approved.
Not sure he's the kind of character we want but he does seem to know how to run a football club.
Chief Exec appointment planned so he (and partner) take a back seat.

I wonder how they feel about League One, as that seems to be where we are heading. All his legal issues dropped so no fit and proper person problems, FL approved.

Lost three critical games. Not sure we can get to safety now.
These bunch of players owe the club & us fans the best possible performances of their lives in our last 3 games!
You can almost see it now if we are relegated, players on the website saying rubbish things like "we didn't take enough of our chances" "if only little Billy sitting in row z had thrown the ball back to us quicker, we could have scored as we were on top at that point"
The excuses will be "interesting" to say the very least!

To be fair, if we do get relegated, then I think the club and the players at the moment deserve it. Trying to build a club, but only getting loaners in, persistent chop and change of managers and targets/ambition for the club. Early enthusiasm by the owner, then benign neglect and finally a very protracted sale process. Players that are probably just about good enough, but not motivated enough, and who can't seem to get a grip at key moments.
I am a little bit resigned to us being relegated, the fight doesn't seem to be there. Sad - but if it brings a new owner and a proper clear out and "reset" then maybe in the longer run it will be a good thing.

I think I said the same when we dropped out of the Premiership...Players that are probably just about good enough, but not motivated enough, and who can't seem to get a grip at key moments.

So the deal is done and appointments have started.
I am still unsure what Financial Fair Play restrictions we have in place - or for how long - does anyone know ?

Hoping for better times ..
Received the most random message last night from a friend of mine. He asked me if I knew of a player called Henri Lansbury. Obviously I have so I said yes, why's that..... Turns out my mate is on holiday in Barbados & was chatting to this family out there who they had never met before, ended up having dinner with them & it turns out to be Henri's mother, father & sister!
