Don't forget our first deduction was 6 points, so you could have got that as opposed to your 4 points.
Wasn't it 10 points originally? Which was absolutely ridiculous!

Yup. It's like they're making this up as they go along.

I don’t see how this process has any credibility anymore.

All of the bottoms six or seven clubs could mount legal challenges at this point for deductions directly or the reductions in penalties applied to other clubs that broke rules they kept.

The biggest offenders are unpunished and the application of the rules has protected a small minority of wealthy clubs.

Has a sports administration body ever more totally failed than the FA ? I include VAR and Referee standards in that evaluation.

Well if they only get 2 points deduction, then we should get 2 points back on appeal, for the same thing.
Looks like they've managed to ps off both Everton and Forest fans. (And Leicester's, when they get 10 points. Or maybe 8. Although at this stage, who knows?)

In fairness, they've been pretty consistent with initial punishment (barring the first "hanging judge" IC) in that they've given 6, 6 and 5, with 5 being the lowest and least significant breach (16m). It's the mitigations and haphazard approach which is the issue, which does boil back down to the clubs, who didn't want a set framework. And who apparently don't want points deductions full stop ("luxury tax??) but are happy for us 2 (3) to receive one.

NB I thought this was wild:

In the summary (point 256) the IC ruled "many if not most of the criticisms levelled against the Club (#EFC) by the Premier League are unwarranted, overstated, or both

Starting to get nervous about today...starting to think it would actually be nice to have a boring run in at some point, with no nerve jangling games. Can't really remember when that last happened? Season where we sacked Karanka?

Decent start, but only exceptional defending from Murillo has stopped us from going behind.

Terrible goal to give away - 3 defenders to 1 attacker and he still got a shot that almost seemed to go through the goalkeeper’s hands.
Deserved equaliser from an unexpected source - MGW header!

Speaking of terrible goals to give away…

Awful.

Panic stations whenever there is a corner.

Would love to know what this ref thinks is happening when Wood or MGW was held from behind then thrown to the floor. Three times it happened but no free kicks given.

If you are talking about when we were 1 or more up, then went on to lose / draw think its more like 23 points lost from winning positions.

Whatever the case, it's far too many - just 6 or 7 of those lost points would be very useful right now.

Repeatedly not being able to hold a lead will be a big contributor if we get relegated.

Yesterday’s game went:
0-1
1-1
2-1
2-2

So is that two points lost from a winning position, or one point gained from a losing position? Or is it both?

Lies, damn lies and…..etc

Just watching the full game on Sky, Glen Murray says 51 since the start of *last* season.

Just our luck that the 6-0 drubbing will really get a reaction in the next match against us.

Or we are playing them at a great time when their confidence is completely shot. I think they picked up some injuries last night too?

Have Everton beaten anyone apart from Burnley this year?
