More than happy for Saints to go quietly under the radar, although it does become a struggle at times to stay away for the last 3 minutes of MoTD.An early goal, a very welcome 3 points, and FF extends his run of clean sheets.
Not a vintage performance by any stretch, but some superb & resolute defending made it very tough for West Ham to trouble Forster as much as I thought they might - had almost resigned myself to Carroll coming on and sneaking a late headed goal.
Wanyama deserves a serious rocket for yet another reckless (and needless) challenge - harsh decision or not (although he was lucky not to have been booked before that tackle), that's his 3rd red this season. Not good enough, IMO.
Van Dijk MoTM for me - what a buy he's been, simply immense.

Wouldn't it be nice if the Sky commentators could get our players' names right. David Pleat has always been a moron but the other chap was getting names wrong too...not just once either.
