Something else I've noticed, totally unrelated - Chambers is playing centre half for Arsenal! So it obviously wasn't a case of him fighting with Clyne for RB starting position! He could have done a job for us there too. Guess he's another who just wanted out and pushed his way through.

He wasn't there, but it wasn't a full strength side. Targett and Isgrove started and Stephens on the bench. No Bertrand either.

Well the rumour mill is peddling that Spurs will only accept a bid on Townsend if we agree to send Spiderman their way. Obviously we're reluctant to do that as he's one of the best midfielders in the league (IMO). Would be better off chasing Redmond and keeping Morgan.

This feels a bit strange to me, but if he will not work with the manager, then we don't need more disruption.

Not for me, he has never really got going. Hopefully he will have a good season with Hull.

Glad we got another defender, and this Mane chap looks the business!

As for Gaston, I agree he's never really got going. Hopefully he'll get more game time at Hull and come back ready to fight for a starting place.

Jos also gone to Norwich, which I'm guessing will end up permanent. He'll do a good job, help them back to the PL and then lose his place again! Poor old Jos! Good servant to the club though, and seemingly a good guy to have around in the dressing room.
