Oh no. Our club is in meltdown !!!
All of our best players have left. Our manager left us for a midtable wannabe team.
WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO

What we are going to do is buy players to improve our whole squad. Bring in a manager with a proven track record and who understands you need a plan B at times.
Then give them time to gel.

As for yesterday we were superb. Yes Newcastle were probably one of the worst Premier league sides I have seen at the church but from keeper to striker our team was brilliant.
To add icing on the cake we are above Liverhampton and Spuds, Banana had a sh!te debut and the Lovren love in looks like it is over.

Oh happy days biglaugh

It amazes me that so many teams have an off day when they play against the Saints. Steve Bruce was very gracious in defeat last season, but the rest of the time, supporters of other clubs fail to recognise that we can play good football. Long may it continue

I think it was touched in here previously, but this happened last season as well. We played brilliantly, got the result we deserved, but on MoTD or whatever it was always how badly the other team played.

This week was the same, mostly how crap Newcastle played, then I think Danny Murphy mentioned at the end how good we played, but that was it.

Human nature is to enjoy slagging people off, rather than giving them credit. It's not just us laugh

That has been the case for as long as I can remember. Whether it be MoTD, Sky Sports, the newspapers (particularly the Telegraph). Always a case of how poor the opposition played or focussing on the crisis they are having and a lengthy debate whilst little words are said for how well the Saints performed.

We played fantastically on Saturday and the team looks settled and gelling well considering the upheaval.

The meltdown as predicted by many pundits (yes you Mr Savage!!) and yet we keep winning. Bony being sent off helped, but you can only beat the team in front of you and we did.... again

Yes. Try to read the implied tone of the post and then look at the emoticon tagged on the end.

Great result! I'd expected a draw so very happy. And I didn't place a bet for a change

What a result.

The meltdown continues laugh

We may have been playing 10 men for half the game but Saints have screwed that up more than once in the past.
This looks a much better squad this season. Plenty of quality to come off the bench.
Long may it continue.
Bring on the Arse on Tuesday hehe

I hate this. Only 5 games in and I'm already thinking above my station! Hard not to get excitable though!

Good win though. ahole will be the real test, but a good day. Eastleigh won, and Lallana, Lovren and co got spanked by the Hammers. Happy days!

Some great results today - Utd get a stuffing, Palace turn Everton over at Goodison, Chelsea and City draw, with the icing on the cake being Pochettino's home defeat to West Brom.

Saints fans were well aware of MP's shortcomings long before he hotfooted it north to White Hart Lane, and it was widely anticipated down here that he wouldn't be at THFC's helm come the start of next season. If Mr NoPlanB continues as he has started, Levy will make sure that Pochettino is down the job centre before Christmas.

If we lose to Forest on Wednesday and get stuffed at Arsenal he'll be lucky to see bonfire night out.

As Alan Sugar said " I've decided not to learn to pronounce your name you might be gone by Xmas"

Was going to post it in the Liverpool thread but thought we'd enjoy it more:

You should post it there too.... It made me smile, but with 33 games to go, I have a feeling that Ads and Lovren will be stars... but then again, Pelle and Tadic will be as well smile

With the away tickets sold out for tonight's game (I know as I tried), should be what, 5,000 there at Arsenal?

Assuming Wenger puts out a weakened/young/reserve squad then a decent chance? Or will he put out some big guns?
