A massive result last night. Only the 3rd time since the war we have beaten them on their patch.
I did not expect the team to gel so quickly. Credit to our coaching team for putting in all the hard work that is now paying dividends.
It is very early days yet and it may go completely pear shaped but a like the look of this squad. We have good cover in all positions, something that was lacking last season.
Now to put that bluenosed tw@t to the sword on Saturday.

Watching The League Cup Show, and, Poch speaking English... WTF is he all about?
In some ways I'm glad he hid behind an interpreter at Saints - he is making no sense in this interview at all:http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29233056
Bring back the interpreter - he knew more about football

It's one of the things that irks me about MoPo the most. Takes Spuds seriously enough to speak English to the press, but didn't us.
I still think he's a good manager, but I hope we stick it to them next weekend.
It won't be an easy match but it's certainly one we have a chance to win! How funny would it be if we finished above them in the league... I still think he's a good manager, but I hope we stick it to them next weekend.
I don't wish any of our former players or managers ill and would like them to be successful but I do want us to beat all of our rivals. 2 years ago, Spurs were not really our rivals and yet today, we have a good team who have the ability to beat Spurs.
I'm not going to suggest that we will finish above them in the league, but being rivals of Spurs, Stoke, Liverpool, Newcastle and Everton is better than being rivals of Hartlepool, Preston and Sheffield United
I love Koemans attitude to bring the team together and I'm hoping that with competition for places, the lads will continue to perform well and score goals.... BTW - What a cracker from Clyne on Tuesday night

I think the opposite, he's lack of English ability shows him up. When he was behind an interpreter, to me, he was the eloquent Spanish speaking Argentinian genius.I still think he's a good manager, but I hope we stick it to them next weekend.

What a goal from Pelle !
The best signing by a premiership side this summer maybe?Although pound for pound he probably is (and I'm not even surprised). But one thing is for sure though, he's def. the best Italian striker in the PL.....
