So Mourinho has finally lost his mind then. What a shame...dreadful human being.
Excellent from Saints today, could've/should've had a few more, shame Tadic didn't finish his chance to make it 4.
Got to admit when Yoshida came on I had visions of Chelsea winning 4-3. Why is he still in the squad??
Anyway, I hope todays result will give us a boost and we can continue to rise up the table. :-)

Southampton were excellent this evening , fantastic result .
You need to get you're excellent manager signed up long term. I get the feeling FSG will be knocking on the door soon.
Easy to say now while he's doing well Bcm. Some would have said the same with other managers while their team is on form (Brendan Suarez for example). You need to get you're excellent manager signed up long term. I get the feeling FSG will be knocking on the door soon.
I'm not saying he's not a good manager but let's see how he copes with a bad run.

Southampton really are showing everyone how a football club should be run.

I suspect Mourinho was saying that to make sure all the pressure/focus from the media etc is on him rather than how absolutely awful the players were.Excellent from Saints today, could've/should've had a few more, shame Tadic didn't finish his chance to make it 4.

He forgot the 2 blatant penalty decisions which Saints should have had!

Southampton really are showing everyone how a football club should be run.
Tadic, Pelle, Mane, Stekelenburg, Wanyama, Betrand, Van Dijk, Fonte, etc
Combination of good scouting and a rational coach.
Cracking result yesterday and from what I saw on the MOTD highlights, we were good value for the 3 points. Our front 3 looked great and Mane's turn on Cahill was sheer pace and power.
All the stories are about Chelsea which is good as we can keep under the radar and try to keep improving. I see Ronald is 25/1 to be next Liverpool manager!

I thought it was going to be Ward-Prowse season, but it's looking like Pelle and Mane's so far
I don't think any season is going to be JWP season, sadly. He seems to be a bit-part player, kinda like Davis, only slightly less experienced and not as effective. Never makes runs, never plays a searching pass. It's just sideways to the feet of the player nearest to him. Doesn't seem to be able to shoot on the spot either. He'll win back possession and always makes the effort, and he's got a great head on his shoulders, but I just don't think he's got 'it'. Totally mean it though when I say I hope I'm completely wrong!Kitchski said:

Cannot fault much of that - not enough end product, not enough goals, too wasteful too often. He's almost become a Marmite player, it seems - the lads who sit behind me love the guy, reckon he's a future England captain. Me, I just don't see it, although I'd also love to be proved wrong..
I'm wondering whether anyone really knows the best position in which to play JWP. Perhaps when Clasie is fit, JWP will be able to play a little more advanced which might suit him better. Until then, I think we look better with Wanyama, Romeu & Davis in the middle of the park.
