J-Rod worked tirelessly for the full 90 minutes and look exhausted at the end - probably the best game he's had for us since he was injured at City.

Rather like Long, a goal or two would do his confidence no end of good.

Only Middlesborough have scored less goals this season (13)

6 of our 14 have come from Austin

With Austin out for 3 months potentially we are now in even more need for a goalscorer to either show themselves or for the club to sign a fit, in form striker in January

Interestingly we have the 5th highest amount of shots this season! (but only 33% accuracy)

I still have faith that he can come good. You can see when he (rarely) plays that he 'has it' in him. It's just a case of him getting game time, confidence and fitness which maybe he now will. That said, we still need another striker. And to keep VVD!

Dominated the game and yep, no goals scored against 10 men for most of the time! Two points dropped IMO.

A good win away from home and nice to see Jay Rod get among the goals. Spurs and West Brom in the next 2 games

Enjoyed that. Good game to watch too for the neutrals.

If Rooneh had scored that third one, the press would be wking themselves into a gigantic froth.

Excellent result and I'm really pleased for Jay Rod. Should give him a real boost.

Oh dear, not good. At least the card removed Redmond from the field of play. I wasn't expecting any points from the game but the scoreline makes for grim reading.

He's a massive goalkeeper is Forster but he ain't that good a shot stopper imo. He should have easily saved the last goal, it seemed to go through him. Big, but not that agile and doesn't get down at all well.

Late to this party I know but I was surprised there was any controversy over it - on TV it looked to me to be a clear foul and certainly a goal scoring opportunity.

As for the rest of the festive period, hmmmm. Who should we be targeting transfer wise? Or does it just need a change of formation/mentality from the manager?
