He just has no character, he can't hold a post match interview, let anone a dressing room.
If the reports are true, he's fallen out with some key players, and perhaps, the team have stopped playing for him?
I thought he was an odd appointment from the start, and I just haven't warmed to him.
We did play well last night though, and, he can't be blamed for THREE missed penalties!

My 53rd game today and boy do I know I have done them !!
Any fan who does every game every season deserves a medal.
As for today, who knows. Would be really nice to see some all out attacking football and a few goals but I doubt that is going to happen.
Plenty of talk around the forums that Puel is a dead man walking. Part of me is not too bothered if he goes. The other part would like to see a bit of stability at the club.
Anyway lets enjoy the last game, have a good summer and hit the ground running next season.

I can't believe there has still been no announcement regarding Puel.
I can just see this dragging on until about 2 weeks before the new season and having sold VVD, Bertrand, Soares etc etc, we will then be scrabbling around trying to make up the numbers. Yes I'm being negative, but I can see it, especially with a huge question mark over our ownership!!

Is VvD now staying if Liverpool has backed down?
The guy still has 5 years on his contract. The club made a stand against Liverpool and forced them into a humiliating climb down.
Would be good if an equally firm stance could be taken with any want-away players under long term contracts.
That said, if a player really wants out, then it'd be difficult to hang on to them.
No idea who the new manager will be if there even is a new manager. But this is a brilliant read.....
