Would this team and RM, playing like this, kept us up last year?
I'm not sure it would defensively. We are strong going forward and are much better albeit against worse oppositionThe teamwork and the fact that the gaffer has got the team working as a team is working really well and would have made a difference

I'm really enjoying it.

Good to see we're still capable of playing like a bunch of *****. Bit more like it, was starting to feel weird being unbeaten for so long.
Credit to BC, I thought they were excellent, and did to us what we've been doing to others for the past few months - they pressed tirelessly and played with pace and urgency.Their win was fully deserved.
That said, Saints were sloppy - too many misplaced passes, too much getting caught in possession, too often bullied off the ball and just too lethargic.
Couple of other takeaways from last night - we really miss Downes in CM, Sulemana is way off where he needs to be and when Adam Armstrong is poor, he is awful.
Regroup, go again and hope for better on Friday.
Had to come to an end at some point, Bristol City look much better than they did 2/3 months ago, look a decent team now who could make a late push for the play offs. Important not to overreact, 25 games unbeaten at any level is pretty unbelievable really, even if you did have a few draws in there.
Friday won't be an easy game either, could easily drop a couple of points there.
I do think we're almost at the point of being out of reach from you now, I know you'll all say we're up anyway (which I'd probably say if I wasn't a Leicester fan), but another couple of bad results will give you too much to do. I imagine you'll all be Leicester fans when we play Leeds next Friday? Think they'll beat us...

Leeds are enjoying a real purple patch at the moment - fully deserved, they've been excellent.Friday won't be an easy game either, could easily drop a couple of points there.

Whilst I can't speak for the teams around Saints, the consensus on the south coast is that Leicester have been out of reach for a while and that 2nd place is the best we could realistically hope for.
With >40 points still up for grabs though, and minimal breathing space between 2nd & 4th, it's certainly has the makings of an interesting run in.

A lot of good play last night.
But...(all just IMO, obviously,)
Bazunu takes too many chances playing it out.
Shae Charles had another match just pass him by
Our narrowness at the back when out of possession will be our undoing against a decent attack.
Agree with that. And most occasions it was heart in mouth stuff only to lead to a rushed clearance that then had no length on it to immediately not only give the ball back but inside our own half. But...(all just IMO, obviously,)

I don’t want to see back to the old days of a hoofed long ball, but this sideways goal kick and playing it in small triangles 3 on 3 from the 6 yard line doesn’t look a good tactic to me. Opposition seem to have figured it out now too.
Still, wins a win and two great goals taken superbly. Glad we played Friday and not lunchtime today with more pressure going second. Will watch the leeds game with interest.
I'm not sure what makes us think we can play like absolute ***** for 85 minutes of a match and stand a chance of getting anything out of it?!!
This obsession with passing it back to Bazunu every 2 seconds is fking tedious!
Shocking display tonight and most of them need docking a months wages.

Yeah this passing about in the 6 yard box is a joke. If you're Barcelona or Man City, you get away with it but even then it's a st tactic and needs to be abolished immediately.
I didn’t see the game but it sounds like this tactic cost us the game tonight.Really odd.
Watched the first 70 mins of the game, Hull were really good first half, their press was killing you. Automatics are the toughest it's ever been, a couple of games blip will probably see you out of the running from this point onwards.
Our game vs. you has been moved to Friday 15th March, but will get moved again if either of us progress in the FA Cup. Selfishly hoping one of us does as I'm at Cheltenham that day, and I'd prefer to play you as late as possible in the season.

Yesterday is a huge loss, the games vs. ourselves, Leeds and Ipswich are vital for you now, you probably need a minimum of 2 wins from those 3 games, whilst also winning 7 of the other remaining 9 games, even that might not end up being enough as that'll give you 94 points I think?
Gonna be a tough task, but still possible, for now.
