I think if you play on Sunday like you did last night, there's every chance of 3 points against the Blades.

I think Stoke will beat Leicester (though I really hope they don't rage), so a win or a draw will be good enough.

Us winning at leicester on saturday was a masssssssssssssssive result, but we need at least a point at home to norwich. I can see the saints beating the pigs as they'll probably roll over to see us down, however i can't see leicester beating stoke.

conversely if wednesday, leicester and the saints all win then its coventry and blackpool needing to get a result...its going to be a long long day on sunday for all of us wobble

From my point of view I'm glad that both the Saints and Leicester need to win to overtake Blackpool (Assuming we get beat). We have just fallen to pieces over the last few weeks. We have conceded 3 goals in 3 of our last 4 games that has taken us from a +'ve goal difference to -5.

Blackpool already hold the record for this division for the most points without promotion and most points to be relegated (both under the old 2pts for a win). After waiting 29years to get back here I do not want to go down with a record pts total again!!!

Thanks, but I really don't want the play offs and personally I don't think we deserve it either.

Blackpool and Sheffied Wed have been in the 1st Division so I think it only fair that somebody else has a go down there!!

I've got a shed..as big as this..i've got a shed as big as this laugh

Do you think oysten is ever going to build the other two sides?

Yes, just don't ask when!!!!

The West stand (or the Gene Kelly temporary stand as we call it) will be the last to be built as there is not enough space behind it to have office space etc built into it, so it will be just a seated stand. The temporary stand only had planning permission till this August, but the club have just had permission to add another 6 rows to it (another 900 seats). This has been passed for another 3 years. Reading what the council had to say when passing the application, they didn't appear to be to happy about having passed it and I don't think it would be wise to go back in another 3 years.

The South stand will be built when the office space with-in it has been pre-let. When the two new stands were built they didn't have anybody signed up to occupy the commercial space in it. So when the local Primary Care Trust took the space it cost a fortune to modify the internal space to their requirements. Oyston doesn't want to have to do this again.

What's got our backs up at the minute (apart from the lack of progress on the South stand) is that the club owned some land that had a night club on it till it burnt down. So this was going to have a hotel and pub built on it, giving extra income. It appears that the land was sold to another Oyston company who have then built the hotel.

thats where that scary tangerine club was isn't it ?

It must be very frustrating as you could have had some good attendances this season

That's the one. Now the site of a 120 room travel lodge with a lot of the rooms having a view of the football pitch due to there being no south stand to block the view.

We've probably lost a fortune in not having enough capacity to take more fans, especially away fans, which will be the reason to extend the temporary stand to about 2800.

I've given up hoping to hear news on when development will restart. Listening/reading Oyston's interviews you would think he was a politician - manages to say a lot without answering the question, so I don't read/listen to them anymore.
