The only hope is Farnans consortium , if I'm honest though I don't think.they have a pot to piss in and we would be in the same situation in double quick time. BILLIONAIRES OF THE WORLD COME TO LEEDS.

One of the strangest chaps ever from Waccoe, ToeNailSoup or TNS for short uploaded a telephone convo with Bates last night.

Tonight he topped that with what seems to be an interview with Massimo Cellino. Its a fking brilliant no hold barred call. Sit down with a drink or two and listen to this - www.soundcloud.com/whiteleedsradio/interview-with-...

He calls Haigh an evil man and the devil. Says we will go under if the FL don't let him have the club tomorrow. Seems Murphy is on 22k a fking week.

He might be a nutjob but he has some passion. Nice to see some passion instead of a bunch of pricks posting smiley faces on twitter like the GFH wkera.

Tomorrow will make or break our club. Sleep tight chaps, its gonna be a long day!

Forgot to add, 25k a week for Noel Hunt to do fk all? No wonder we are pissing away £1.5million a month!

One of the best lines from the interview "you can buy a bh for a night but you cant buy the love."

Phil Hay (aka Hay-Z) has said the voice is genuine so the interview is kosher!

FL issued a short statement. A Football League spokesman said:

"Massimo Cellino's appeal under The Football League's Owners' and Directors' Test has now concluded with the Independent QC reserving his judgement."

No indication as to when he will deliver his judgement. Knowing us it will either be tomorrow (April Fools) or it will be a few hours after GFH put us into administration. Seems the accounts were due to be published today and they had an extraordinary shareholders meeting scheduled.

And yet another defeat at home to a team below us in the table. I'm not sure whether a points deduction can now take effect this season but even without one we're going to be close to finishing in the bottom 3 the way we're playing...

That defeat has gone a long way to ensuring we go down too. Needed you to do us a favour but now we are six points from safety, Charlton still have two games in hand too..

Thanks for nothing. hehe

So both groups are now in talks to buy the club together. Interesting twist! That being said if Cellino's appeal fails then there's no way the super consortium can work together.

its hard to be sympathetic to the current situation apart from a nod to the never ending fanatical fan base.

millionaire footballers being asked to defer wages are seeds falling on stony ground imho.

then again you could say, well it isn't the players' fault their wages are so high...it was whomever offered the contract surely? When these contracts were set up - there must have been insider knowledge about affordability and ability to actually physically pay these sums???

or was it ostrich behaviour in the hope that a rich buyer would come along and say I'll pay those wages and pay the debts...

it feels like the levels of blind complicity at Leeds has been disgraceful.

please inform us otherwise if not true?

Unfortunately the whole footballers wages situation is out of control but how do you stop it? How many clubs in the top flite (top 4 leagues) are economically stable and have a good sound financial footing? How many can support the wages that players command? But what do you do? If the FA put a cap on salaries you'd just see players move off to European clubs. If EUFA put a cap on salaries you'd see players move off to the USA, or the far east, or wherever.

It is unsustainable but how could it possibly be sorted?

Yup can't see him lasting long given our form. Lets see how our players perform once they have been paid!

I really cant make the Italian boy out. On one side he has a slightly shall we say shadowy financial background and on the other he appears to be well financed and certainly doesn't take any st. I think Leeds really need someone to say it how it is, keep Leeds' overheads in trim and besides I cant really see anyone else buying the club just to make a quick buck. The last few owners have cleared us out. I shall remain quietly optimistic about this takeover, but fully expect an incredible clear out come summer. We need 2 more wins to avoid a last game scramble to stay up though.
Players on £25k/week should hang their heads in shame with the state of some of their performances (apart from Macca as he is worth a Premiership salary in my eyes)
