It's OK though, Sky Bet might give us £250k that we can't spend on players :-/

Not looking forward to the rest of the season , a relegation battle to look forward to.
I'd take 4th from bottom now if offered it. Not looking forward to the game at Derby tonight; they're probably still smarting from being turned-over at Elland Road last month and I fear we could be on the wrong end of a drubbing - will be watching on Sky but with plenty of alcohol to hand to ease the likely pain.....Killer2005 said:
So are we looking forward to League 1 again next season?
I hope not but am fearing the worst. In truth losing away at Derby last night was no great surprise as they're a good side and if they don't bag an automatic promotion spot they'll surely at least make the play-offs; however, losing at home to Wigan on Boxing Day really wasn't good as those are the sort of teams we need to be beating. The worry I have is that with the transfer embargo we're effectively stuck with the squad we have and the way it's looking at the moment they may not be good enough to keep us in the Championship...... Team form always seems directly connected to the financial security of the club. New rich owner rumoured? New owner installed? Money rumoured? - Then we miraculously go on a winning streak. Bad news? Owner seemingly skint? Owner being threatened with having to sell the club because he is undesirable? No transfers allowed because of... whatever? - Oh look, we can't win to save our lives. Of course, having wheeled in what seems like dozens of mediocre and unmotivated players from all around Europe really doesn't help.
On a side note, I was sorry to see Leslie Silver has passed away. http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/main-topics/ge...

Yes, heard about it yesterday. RIPI seem to remember that at times the Silver/Fotherby era wasn't without its share of criticism but they had the best interests of the club at heart and in terms of honesty and integrity Leslie Silver was on a different planet from those that have followed.
